A break will be good

Seems like I am at a bottleneck again.. It happened quite frequently these days.. Met with problems which I can't do much about.. Felt really helpless at times n wonder am I on the right track...

In need of a break but the times I need a break nowadays seems to be on the rise.. Will a break help me to recharge? If yes when do I need a break so often? Does it mean I am not full recharge during those break I had?

I need to find a hobby, something I love doing so that I will feel fulfilled.. It would be better If I can make some extra income out of those hobbies.. ;p

I am engaged!!

Words cant described how blissful & happy I am now.. Not forgetting, surprised.. I never expected n never suspected anything at all.. He did such a good job at covering and hiding his intention and nervous feelings..

He gave me the kinda proposal which I had never ever imagined he would.. But I love it.. I am totally surprised and blown off my feet.. Felt really touched when I saw the video he made for me, a snapshot and summary of what we had gone through the past years... I believe there will be more additions to it and I know I will be in good hands from now on..

After 4 months of endless waiting for my super duper long holiday, its finally here.. In fact, its over already.. Feeling super sian, (but i guess its normal after a long break) cause need to go back to reality in less than 18 hours..

It's a 8d7n trip, had been planning the itinerary ever since we booked the ticket in december.. Covered almost everything in Taipei.. Went to the 2 hotspring area, had a 1 day tour along the northeast coast, went back to Danshui, bought alot of lashes (considered the tu-chan in taiwan these days), went around looking for good food etc etc...

Wont be able to cover everything in 1 post, will break it up into a few just like the pics I posted on FB..

Day 1: Changi Airport, Ximending, Wufenpu & Raohe NM

Our flight is @ 705am, the earliest flight I had ever taken.. This also means I will need to wake up at 4am in the morning.. Slp for 2 hours & had to rush to the airport.. As usual, we had BK for brekkie before entering the boarding gate.. The flight was quite empty..

After 4.5 hours of sitting in the cabin, we finally arrived in Taoyuan International Airport.. Feeling really excited but abit sian cause the weather isnt as cooling as I thought it would be..

We took Freego (bought the return ticket) to Chengdu hotel, which is where the homestay owner asked us to alight at..

After we alighted outside the hotel, we were abit lost.. Had to walk and asked quite a few shop attendant before we were able to find our homestay.. All along I thought the place is in Taipei Main Station, never had I thought its so near Ximending..

When we found the place, we had to call the owner cause we did not know which floor to go to.. Manage to find the place but the room was not ready yet, left our luggage and we went out to look for food..

Had a hard time trying to find Ximending, my direction sense was really bad.. :P Havent felt so lost in my life before.. haha..

Got to the main area of Ximending and asked around for the famous Ice shop.. It's just next to the exit of the station.. Queue was really long.. Totally had no idea of what I am ordering..

Personally, I prefer the pineapple flavour Vs the Starfruit one.. The starfruit one is too salty.. After that, we walk along the main road of Wu Chang Street towards Taipei Main Station, trying to look for the 清真黄牛肉面.. Din manage to find that but I chanced about the 东东牛肉面 I used to go with Billy and Cheng when we went to Taipei 3 years back.. What a pleasant encounter.. hehe..

After lunch, we walk around the area before walking back to the hotel.. There are alot of shops with very cool stuffs around there.. Was trying to look for the 7-11 where I sent my order of 牛尔 from payeasy to but I could not find it.. In the end, we got lost in Ximending.. haha.. Had a hard time trying to find our way back to Taipeiyork..

Our room was ready by then and I was really happy cause the room looks exactly like how it looks like in the picture over the internet.. My frenz keeps telling me not to have high expectation of the homestay or hotel in taipei cause they usually dun tally with the pictures you saw on the net..

We rested and washed up before moving off to Wufenpu and Raohe NM for the day.. Walked to Ximending area to experience the vibrancy of Taipei.. (Well, at that point of time, its the only way I know how to get to the station from our hotel.. haha )

Took us about 20 min before reaching Hou Shan Pi station where Wufenpu is..

Weather was getting cooler.. Had a short shopping spree at Wufenpu.. The clothes there are getting more and more expensive.. Totally unlike the experience I had when I was here 3 years back with Lishan.. The effect of higher cost of living.. Damn sadded.. Rested at the food street of Wufenpu to enjoy the cool weather before moving off to Raohe NM..

We totally din know where Raohe is.. Just know that we had to cross over to the other side of the train station nearby.. But the train station has moved.. Luckily, a auntie showed us the way.. It's about 5-10 min walk away from Wufenpu..

We joined in the fun to queue for the famous Hu Jiao Bing.. Need to queue at least 10 min if you go at the peak hour..

Finally we are the first in queue.. Was looking forward to how it taste cause it is recommended in almost all the travel guide & blog.. But i think its a personal taste thingy, I dun deny that the meat is really succulent and the fillings is huge, but I dun like the skin.. Dun really think its worth the queue.. (personal opinion)

We had difficulty walking through the night market cause its super crowded.. We were looking for the next must eat at Raohe, herbal Bak Kut soup...

Continued walking along the night market, looking for interesting things and food.. Dear got abit tired..He wasnt feeling too well too, probably due to the lack of slp..

This is so so good..

We were glad that we sat down and had this.. It's the best oyster I had ever had and make us coming back for it the 2nd time during our week in Taipei.. hehe.. The oysters were really fresh and it wasnt overcooked.. I must mentioned the wasabi sauce provided by the stall.. OMG, its heavenly.. Yes, its a wasabi sauce, not those solid ones we usually had..

We thought we were done for the night but.......... Dear manage to find this 100 yr shop selling Orh Ah Mee Sua... It's called Dongfa.. Another must eat at Raohe, I was trying to look for it earlier on but gave up.. It's right beside a small temple, if you din look close enough you will miss it..

It's not those gluey type of Mee Sua like Ah Zhong, but its comparable.. The soup is really refreshing and tasty.. And the chilli sauce, pls do not be deceived by it.. OMG, its super spicy but shiok.. hehe..

Lastly, time for some desserts..

Can taste the soya bean and the syrup is not too sweet, in fact with the shaved ice, it felt really refreshing.. Best to top with both peanuts and Fen Yuan..

Was close to 11pm when we finished covering the whole Raohe NM.. The weather is superb, 23C.. We decided walked all the way from Raohe back to Houshanpi station to take the mrt back to Taipeiyork..

Day 3: Free & Easy Day

We did not plan an itinerary for this BKK trip.. We will just relax & do whatever we wanna do.. ( I admit, for me most of it is shopping... )

We woke up around 10am BKK time.. This is rather late compared to our other trips when I will wake up super early in the morning so that we can cover more places..

We had our brekkie at a noodle place near the hotel.. After brekkie we went to check out the Pratunam market across the road.. I never thought that inside those small alley is such a big space.. It is a market built inside a warehouse.. (at least to me, it looks like it..) Like normal market, the stuffs sold is catered more to the mature crowd.. But one special thing is, there are quite a no. of shops selling stage wear..

These are what we had for brekkie & lunch..

We went to Platinum later.. Did some last min shopping cause our flight is at 130pm the next day, we will not have time to do any shopping.. Went back to the hotel to put my loots after a few hours of shopping cause we need to go to Sukumvit Soi 3 for Benny's fitting..

That is the thing that makes my blood boil.. We went there & found out that the tailor did not manage to make the clothes on time.. If he is honest to tell me frankly that, I will not be that angry.. Instead he told us that, OH..... you no need to come for fitting at all ah.. I thought I mentioned that to you before? We will use your previous measurements, should be fine...

WTF, it was him who told us to come back for fitting @ 4pm sharp today when we came 2 days back... Now he is telling me a total different story.. In addition, we already told him dun use last years' measurement cause its not really fitting.. Now he tells me he is using that!! We insisted on doing the fitting but he said the shirts are not with him... Really suck thumb!! We swear we wont be going back to the same tailor anymore... (For those who want to avoid going to the same tailor as us, just ask me before you go BKK)

Another sucky thing is, it is the peak hour & we could not get any cab back.. Every cab we hailed want to charge us a fixed amount to go back to the hotel & it is like 3x more than metered... When we finally got onto a cab which charge us by meter, he purposely use the most congested road & when we paid him upon reaching, he claims he din have change & want us to treat the shortfall as tips.. OMG.. What a bad experience... It is all these stupid drivers that ruin the effort of those really nice ones we met before...

But it is because of this stupid driver, I manage to get my transformer luggage bag.. It almost 50% cheaper than the one I saw @ Nana.. (Still, I will not forgive the taxi driver despite that!!) At least, I got a reason to be happy.. :P

I went back to Platinum to change my top before heading for our massage.. The one we went today is so much painful than the previous one.. But its so~~~~~ shiok!!

We decide to stick to our plan & head down to Chinatown for dinner.. Took a cab & realise you must tell the driver you wanna go to 'Yauwarat', most of them duno what is Chinatown.. The driver told us that cause its the CNY period so the night market wont be open & asked us wanna go SomBoon or not... Luckily, we did not believe him.....

He let us alight along a road which is quite quiet.. We decide to explore around since we are already there.. Worse come to worse, we will just sit at any store that is open.. :P As we walked along a small alley, it becomes more & more lively..

We walk further down the small road & there it is~~ the roadside store that I am looking for.. It's OPEN & full of people.. ( I rem it the place from 美食大三通) Super duper happy.. The price of the food there makes me even happy.. hehehehe..

Dinner was superb.. Especially the grilled King Prawn, it is so fresh & yummy.. Next time when I come BKK, I will come here every night for dinner..... hehe..

Chanced upon this mobile snack stall.. They seems to be really popular... But we were too full for the doughy thing they are selling.. Looks like mini you tiao with condensed milk & other toppings..

As it is Valentines' Day, we saw alot of couples around the place too..

Tonight is a feasting night for us cause before we know, we are sitting @ another store waiting for our food to be served.. :P

We head back to our hotel around 12 midnight.. Feeling super bloated & satisfied.. hehe... But the sad thing is, we need to pack our things for tml.. :( Time passes really fast, there goes our 4d3n BKK trip.. But the happy thing is we bought alot of things... (Well, i admit is I bought alot of things..) We did the usual things..................

Day 2: Shopping, Eating & Clubbing ~

Weekend is for what? Weekend is for Chatuchak!!!

We woke up really early in the morning cause we know we wont be able to withstand the BKK sun for a very long time.. But little did we expect it to start raining.. The first time I experienced rain in BKK.. Was quite worried the rain would spoil our shopping session...

It took us only 15 mins max to reach & cost 65 baht.. The rain has subsided when we reached Chatuchak but the floor is really wet.. Had to brave through puddles & puddles of water while looking for a place for our brekkie.. We decide to settle @ this small shop near the train station selling pork bee hoon & cai peng..

Total cost for 2 bowls & 2 iced tea = 100 baht!! ( The portion is just nice for me.. )

Whoohoo.. By the time, we finished our food.. The sun is out.. I quite like the weather cause it was really windy.. What a superb condition to shop @ Chatuchuk.. (If the floor is dry, it will be PERFECT!!)

We chanced upon this small eatery among all the shops selling clothes.. It seems a little out of place but who cares cause the Thai-style wanton mee looks really good.. We head inside without thinking twice.. It is one of the best decision we make that day...

We tried both the dry & soup version.. Both taste differently but equally good..

We move on to shop again but stop in front of another small shop selling dessert... Can you guess what we did? YES~~ we went in & started ordering.. haha..

Continued our shopping after this but I dun we wont be staying for long cause it's getting warmer & warmer..

Ok dear, another half an hour & we shall go back k??

I fulfilled my promise & left Chatuchuk after getting my last pair of shoes for my mum.. By the time, it is around 230pm BKK time.. We took a cab & I got a chance to experience the BKK jam.. But this is all BECAUSE~~~~~

We were a little worried the moment we saw this.. But luckily nothing happened...

Had a short rest @ our hotel before heading to the famous Erawan Temple.. On our way there, we saw alot of roadside store opening for business & we were looking at the food others are eating.. hee.. We saw something interesting & just sat down..

We went to Platinum to exchange my dress & bought my contact lens.. Den we take a short evening walk along Central World to Erawan Temple.. Along the way, we saw alot of interesting things..

It was my first time to give thanks to the god.. I totally do not know what to do except I want to employ dancers to dance for the god.. Luckily I met this really helpful Singaporean who was there to give thanks too.. He asked me to follow him & told me what should I do...

We took a tuk-tuk back to our hotel.. Wanted to experience how it was like.. But i think its still cheaper to get a cab & easier too.. Cause u no need to haggle & such, more clear cut..

We went for a massage in one of the parlour along the street towards our hotel.. Felt more refreshed after that.. Am glad we went for one cause we still have a long night ahead..

We took a cab to the Somboon seafood restaurant in Patpong.. Pls specify the place of the seafood restaurant cause normally the cab-driver will drive you to another Somboon (Somboon Dee) restaurant where the food is more expensive & according to my frenz, they receive comm from the restaurant when they bring ppl there to dine.. Our cab driver also took us to the wrong one..

The food we had @ Somboon seafood.. Famous curry crab.. Apart from the curry crab, the other dishes were not as good as before..

We went to RCA after the meal.. I was abit skeptical cause it is a Sunday night.. I wonder will there be alot of ppl there.. But it turned out to be pretty good.. The crowd, the music & even the drks... I really enjoyed myself, esp after the super bad experience yesterday night.. :P

We went back around 130am.. Felt totally cheated by the cab driver yesterday cause he told us RCA closes at 1am.. What a lie.. Cause the place is super alive even on a Sunday night after 1am.. No signs of it closing at all!! Next time I will stay with my usual plan & not be swayed by cab driver anymore..

Land of thousand smiles

After 5 months of waiting after I first booked my ticket, the time has finally come!! Land of thousand smiles, how I miss you ever since a year ago..

Only manage to catch 2 hours of slp before waking up to go to the airport.. Was @ liyuan's place the previous night until 4am playing poker.. Shack!!

Though with just 2 hours of slp, we were happy to wake up early the next morning!! We reached the airport before 9am, wanted to have our brekkie there & shop inside the check-in area..

After our sumptuous BK brekkie @ T2, ( i always dun rem there is a BK in T1), we took the sky train back to check-in.. By then, I can feel the Zzz monster attacking me.. :p

Shop around the DFS area & came across this shop selling watch.. I wanted to get a watch for my birthday, so we went there to take a look & I saw this really gorgeous watch.. I am a super troublesome woman, who is damn fickle-minded & duno what I want.. But when i saw this watch, I know I wanted it..

We board the plane @ 11am.. Were the last few who board the plane even though the flight is @ 1130am.. Another usual on the plane photo shot..........

Was trying out my camera vivid function & was quite happy with what I had taken after the take-off.....

2 hours later, after taking a short POWER nap.. We reached the land of shopping!! I told myself prior to the trip that, unlike the other trips I had when I kept taking pictures, this will be one which I will just enjoy the moment..

The immigration was flooded with ppl from all over the world.. It was quite chaotic cause we did not know where to queue & such.. I guess at that point of time there were at least 2k tourists queuing @ the check-out area... Took almost 1 hours plus to get clearance & this is considered fast cause we manage to find a short queue @ the corner....

We took the City Rail to our hotel this time round to avoid the renowned BKK traffic..

Was quite happy with the new railway system... The coin-like thing on the top right is the token for the railway where you can get at the self-ticketing machine for 1x usage... As you can see on the bottom left, we are trying to locate our hotel @ the very last minute.. hehe..

Seems like last minute navigation is not our forte, cause we alight at the wrong station.. ( Or should I say I assume the hotel is near the last station of the City Rail line..Cause I heard from Micho its near the train station.. ) Well, it's near the train station but its @ the last 2nd stop instead!!

We lug our lugguage through the busy streets of Pratunam, trying to find the exact location of the hotel by asking the locals, trying to make em understand us etc.. It was really an adventure... haha.. I quite enjoyed it......... Did I mention, I was being mistaken as a local when I was trying to ask for the directions?!?

Finally, after walking one BIG round, we manage to find our hotel!! Felt really elated cause the lugguage is starting to weigh on me.... We stayed @ Tango Vibrant.. Quite a small but really nice hotel.. I totally love the location, just 10 mins walk away from the famous (among the gals) & infamous (among the guys) Platinum shopping Mall.. Along the way, there are alot of Thai massage parlour where you can relax after 1 full day of shopping..

We went to Platinum Mall after bathing & resting for half an hour.. I need to get some clothes for the night cause I only brought 2 set of clothes for the trip.. 1 for slping & the other for Chatukchap shopping spree!! hehe..

Me & benny decide to meet in the main lobby of the mall an hour later.. Guess its easier & more comfortable for each other this way.. But I din realise there are 2 main lobby!! Luckily, he came to look for me after 10 min past the agreed time @ the other lobby.. :P

We went back to the hotel & prepared for the night out.. Went to the famous chicken rice store across the street of Platinum Mall.. It was featured on the Channel 8 show..

First time I see chicken rice with pig's blood.. How I miss it..

We ordered half chicken & realised that it is too much for 2 pax.. In the end, both of us din finished our rice.. ( Personally, I still prefer the texture of the chicken & the fragrance of the Chicken rice in S'pore.. :P)

After dinner, we took a cab to Pleonchit BTS station where Benny went last year to custom-made his shirt.. Well, we got the place name mixed up.. Its more of near to NaNa BTS station.. We took a slow walk over to the actual place.. By the time we reached, most of the shops are preparing to close.. In the end, we went back to the one he made @ last year.. ( which turns out to be a wrong decision..)

We took a cab to Ekamai.. Both Seb & Mau told me it is a superb clubbing street with lotsa fantastic clubs around.. But when we were driving along the street, it was no where near what they described... I din see any interesting clubs @ all.. Wanted to go to RCA but was told by the cab driver that it closed @ 1am.. (WHICH IS A LIE!!)

He recommended us to go to this club called BOSSY which closed at 6am & according to him, quite hip among the university students (ANOTHER LIE!!) So we went there & was totally turned off by it... It is nothing like any clubs along RCA.. Words cannot described how CUI the place is..... I finished my bottle of beer in the fastest time ever & left the place within 10-15 mins... Thinking back now, it was like another adventure of the trip..

We decide to go back to the hotel & turn in early for the night to make up for the previous night & in preparation for the Chatukchap mission the next day.. :)

Had a new haircut yesterday.. In fact we did quite a no of things yesterday, probably because of the early night in the previous night..

Went for dinner on Fri @ Les Bouchons for a mini celebration cause my of work review..

Woke up around 10 the next day & went to West Coast plaza to buy some skin product from Niks.. It's been more den 2 months since I last went there.. Just went there to get my medicine & din go for the consultation.. Had a casual lunch there before heading back to my place to get my passport..

The main purpose to JB is to get our car car polished & waxed.. I cant rem when is the last time we went for a car wash.. Wanted to try the one below city square but the rates is really high.. Since i had to wait 2 hours for my hairstylist, we decide to go to the street along New York Hotel where Benny read from a forum, has all the car wash shops...

It was raining very heavily when we were making our way there.. Went to a well renovated shop only to find out it is even more expensive than the on at City Square.. I think the both of us look like a carrot to them.. :( We decide to try our luck & went to another 'shop'.. Technically, it is not a shop cause they only have this tin sheets covering the empty space next to a soft drinks manufacturing company.. After negotiating the price, we decide to just stay there..

We stayed there throughout the 'makeover' session for our car cause it was raining.. I mus say that they were really meticulous in their service.. I dun think its because we were there cause there was another car with the owner no where to be seen & the treatment given was the same as ours... ( For those who want to go, the place is just diagonally across New York Hotel entrance and opposite this disco lookalike building.. )

We were super happy after seeing the transformation of our car car.. The feeling is the same as when we first collected our car car.. hehe..

Went back to City Square for my haircut.. Decide to cut my fringe & try out the bangs once again.. Benny said I look like a doggie when I am done with my haircut.. ( Is this a compliment?!?)

What I want..

It has been 2 weeks into the new year 2011... Time passes by so quickly.. In another 3 more weeks, I will be 26 this year.. Past the quarter life.. :(

I was thinking about what I had done during my life, what I had achieved etc... Seems like I had nothing significant to mention about.. It's just a simple person leading a simple life.. Nothing really fantastic & not much experience to talk about.. I tried asking myself what I want in my life.. Cant seem to find an answer to that qns.... Guess I still do not really understand myself at this point of time..

I am really happy with what I am having at this moment.. But somehow, I feel that something seems to be missing... Some adventure?? Life seems to be abit monotonous at times to me.. I am like in a comfort zone now, too scare to move out of it BUT on the other hand, I craved for something different.. Is that consider being not contented?? Or I am just trying to find trouble for myself??

I hereby declare that me & Mr Benny officially own a house NOW!!

Or at least its a option to get a house.. It was such a happy occassion apart from me having a fever for the previous 2 days & taking MC on the actual day when we were supposed to go & choose our unit.. What a spoiler.. :(

The days counting down to the actual day for us to go to HDB hub to choose the unit were really unbearable.. Checking out the HDB portal to monitor the take up rate of the estate, to see whether my preferred unit was being chosen makes the wait even more exciting.. I will feel super happy every time when I saw my preferred block & unit was available after every appt prior to mine...

We did not manage to get our first choice cause we were really quite behind the queue.. Even if the take up rate is less den 2/3, our preferred block & units were taken up pretty fast.. 2 days before my appt date, ( if i dun rem wrongly ), my hope was dashed cause the only available high level unit of my preferred block was being taken.. I was super duper upset... :(

By the time it was our turn to choose, the highest level left for our preferred block has only level 7 left but we are not keen to take that unit.. Thus we chose another block with a higher level.... It was really quite a dilemma for me to choose that unit... But I was really happy to secured a flat... :)

In another 3-4 years' time, I will be able to get my unit.. It is time to start looking for ideas to decorate my new house.. It's going to be a very difficult task but a task which I will gladly take up..

Short Weekend Getaway @ Hard Rock

Whoohoo~~ Thanks to Mummy, we had a chance to go to the Hard Rock RWS over the weekend.. I went straight to RWS to pick up Mummy for dinner at a Zhi Char place near Benny's house.. Their salted egg crab and Yu Tou Lu are really nice..

Went back to the hotel after dinner.. The room is really big.. But cause my sis's frenz were there too, I decided to go to Benny's place to stay for the night before going over the next day to check into our room..

The next morning, we woke up around 830am cause we wanna go to see the dermatologist at West Coast which open at 9am.. This is the first time we woke up so early apart from going to the airport to catch our flight.. Haha..

We reached West Coast Plaza at 9am sharp and was surprised to see only 2 pax in front of us..

( The clinic is really quite famous and from the forum, there are times when there are queue outside the clinic before 8am.. ) The previous time when I came, I waited for almost 2 hours when I reached at 730pm to get the queue no. ( FYI, the clinic open at 7pm in the evening )

Was damn happy to be able to see the doctor before 930am.. This time round, alot more skincare were added into my regime.. Every time I wash my face, there will be at least 6 products I need to apply on my face.. :P This month alone, I had spent $300 on the skincare and consultation.. ( Heart damn pain k?? ) Well, as long as it works and my face can be zit &mark-free.. :)

We went to IMM after having our brekkie.. It's the 1st time we went shopping before 11am.. I did some shopping for my D&D deco..

We went to Hard Rock and took some photos while waiting for Mummy @ the lobby..

Back to the hotel to retire for the night.. Woke up the next morning at 930am.. But was too lazy to go down & swim.. In addition, NO ONE wants to go swim with me... Sad max~~

Check out at 12 & went to Holland V for lunch.. Had dim sum & porridge.. Yeah.. I miss dim sum!! Well, I miss alot of food.. haha..

It is a wonderful getaway.. Being able to relax without traveling out of Singapore.. No jams at the causeway, no sea-sickness while taking a ferry and personally I dun think it is as rush as you are overseas and trying to catch the transport back to Singapore.. I love weekend getaway!!

It has been another month since I last updated.. Alot of things had happened but I am just so lazy to blog about it..

I came back from Phuket for almost a month.. AND tiger airway still haven returned me my money.. Really damn pissed off with them cause it has been almost 2 months since they cancelled my flight.. WHEN ARE THEY GOING TO PAY ME BACK!!

ok, let's talk about something happier.. It was not exactly a relaxing trip as I tot it would be cause I need to plan all the things & itinerary for my family.. The hotel we stayed is near the Bangla Road & shopping centre, everything turned out quite well though.. The bonus is, Benny managed to join me in the end cause of his leave schedule.. :)

Apart from that, the next BIG thing is....... I got my flat!! I got my queue no. for the Woodlands BTO.. I AM SO SO HAPPY!! Even though it means I wont be able to leave Woodlands for another 10 more years.. BUT i dun really mind.. No doubt, it might be even better if I can have a change or environment by living in another estate but well, it is not as if Woodlands is a very bad place apart from the distance to town.. By this time, after staying in Woodlands for more than 18 years, even before the train system was up.. I am quite used to it already.. :P

Moreover, the issue was really pressing for me & Benny cause of the difficulty in getting a BTO now and also because we are not sure of how the 8k income ceiling thingy is being calculated.. Better be safe than sorry.. So when we got the flat after 5 tries, 3 being unsuccessful and the other one still pending.. It is really a load off our mind.. :) Am awaiting for the brochure and the scheduled time to go down & choose our unit..

I also met up with qincheng & billy quite often these days.. Went to billy's place for MJ, meeting both of em for dinner, going out with billy & shan for movie and going out with the for KTV.. hehe..

Was having a discussion session with the gals for Anna's wedding.. She is going to have her wedding dinner in Jan next year.. Gonna be on a weekday, hope will be able to get leave on that day.. :)

Mery will be coming back at the start of Dec soon.. Hope will be able to meet up with her.. When she was back the other time, we did not have a chance to go out at all.. Only met up with her for a few hours cause of her sisters' wedding gown preview at her place and that's it.. :P

Dec is round the corner, meaning X'mas is coming soon.. Looking forward to the company D&D, the anniversary celebration, the annual X'mas party @ Shu's place & the preparation for new year eve.. I cant believe how fast time passes by... OMG!!

KL adventure 2010~~

It has been almost one year since our KL adventure.. It is time to go for another one before the year end.. For Mau, it might also be his last road trip with us.. :P

Alot of things happened before the trip, alot of changes, alot of problems.. But in the end, everything was resolved.. Me, Mau & Liyuan went to Kallang to collect our Trajet before meeting Ida & Benny.. We went to Havelock there for the super ex, Teochew porridge before heading to pick up Chris @ her place.. Went to Mau's place to park his car then to Daron's one, and lastly mine to pick up my lugguage & passport.. :P

By the time we reach the S'pore custom, it was around 1145pm!!

We finally hit the NS Highway around 1230am.. After 1 hours of driving, the chit-chatting gets softer n softer, what was left were some snoring.... hehe..

We reached our first pit stop around 2am.. By that time, most of us were hungry.. It's time for food and some stretching!!

We were eating like nobody business, mee soto, fried chicken, mee goreng, some beef balls noodles etc etc... No one remember about their dieting programme.. hehe.. We hit the road at around 3am.. Daron was driving this time round.. I fell aslp and by the time I woke up, we already pass the toll and was heading towards Genting..

We decide to U-turn back to the nearest petrol kiosk.. It is quite dangerous to stay by the side of the road.. We got into the car, at this moment, Mau suddenly said.. I cant start the engine, I think the battery got drained off... OMG, everyone was damn sianz when we heard that, cause we need someone to jump start the batt for us.. But under that condition, who will stop for us!!!

Luckily, it was jus a scare la.. He cannot start the engine because he did not change his gear to neutral la.. Everyone started scolding him.. Walau, he really gave us the scare of our life man!!

Everything went well on the way down to the petrol kiosk.. :P

Deciding what to do? Shall we abandon the trip to genting or shall we wait for the car to cool down first and try again??

Well, in the end.... We make a decision.. Those who want to go genting can take a cab up while the others who do not wish to go can go to KL instead.. Then we shall meet in the noon in KL to shop etc...

In the end, only me, Benny, Mau, Liyuan & Ida went up to Genting in a small car.. The others went to KL straight.. We managed to reach Genting around 8.. We went to the Casino.. It was really quiet for a Sat morning.. We played until 9 plus before heading down to Old Town for our breakfast..

Were really quite disappointed.. 1stly, it was because the weather this time round was really HOT!! Totally no fog and mist and the sun is shining brightly!!! 2ndly, it was because of the food at Old Town.. OMG, it was bad.. No toast, no omega eggs and the signature hor fun was totally out of standard.. The soup is bland, there is not much meat and prawn and the hor fun taste horrible!!!

We went back to the Casino and played for another hour before deciding to leave for KL.. A finale picture at the main Lobby..

The 5 gamblers who die die want to go up to Genting, even if its jus for 3-4 hours.. :P

We took a cab down to KL, spending RM200 in total just for a 3 hour session up to Genting.. Met the others @ Sungei Wang for massage.. The massage was really good, esp after a long night ride.. We went to Sungei Wang shopping centre to get Famous Amos cookies.. Din do any shopping, too tired to even think of shopping.. ( Yeah, that is how tired we are!! )

We went back to our hotel, bath & knocked out all the way until 9pm.. Still feeling damn seh.. I dun mind slping all the way until the next morning.. :P But we still have to meet Seb @ Jalan Alor for dinner before heading to Zouk.. Him & Hel has come to KL specially to club with us so cannot pang seh them..

We reached Alor @ 10pm.. Ordered a table full of food.. Had been having this prawn soup craving for almost a year and was damn disappointed cause the standard DROP tremendously.. :( Nth to look forward to anymore man.. We finished our meal at 1130pm & took a cab down to Zouk.. Went to Velvet where the others had settled down..

It was really fun.. Everyone was really high & we kept taking photos with the SCB model aka liyuan.. hehe.. I love the music in KL zouk.. Totally my cup of tea man.. But the thing is I was really tired after a long day.. Around 2am, me & Benny left the club & walk back to the hotel to rest.. The others came back around 3am.. Concussed the moment I hit the bed..

The next morning, we woke up at 10am.. Time to pack up and home sweet home.. :( Still feeling quite tired after a long day yesterday..

We check out at 1130 & drove around looking for food.. Wanted to go eat Bak Kut Teh but in the end, we ended up at the famous Black Char Siew restaurant, Overseas.. I duno what the hype is about on this black Char Siew but because of the reviews I heard from others, I had really high expectations of it.. But, I dun really think that it is anything our of the world lo.. ( Well, this is just my personal preference.. ) I still prefer the one at the chicken rice stall near Sungei Wang, its tender but not so fatty..

Our bills comes up to RM600 for a lunch with 6 dishes.. Well, the RM600 bill is inclusive of the RM200 of Char Siew we dabao back.. ( Yeah RM200 just on Char Siew, I think we are really suckers man.. ) Apart from that, RM 150 is on the Cod fish.. Walau, speechless... We are really there to boost the economy..

After a 'sumptuous' lunch, it is time to set off.. We bought Doughnuts at Times Square while on the way to the Highway.. Reached JB at 5 plus & we went to City Square cause Ida want to get her Skinfood while Liyuan wants to get contact lenses.. After we were done with our shopping, we went to Da Ma Hua Yuan for Seafood dinner..

Again, we ordered a table full of food.. We are going to gain at least 2kg from this trip man!! Din go for the massage as we thought there might be a jam along the causeway.. But to our surprise, there was no jam @ all.. We cross the causeway in 15 min & I reached my place at 9pm.. whoohoo, damn early lo..

It is yet another exciting trip with the survivors gang.. :P

It is finalised.. Will be going on a roadtrip to Genting & KL this coming weekend with my ex-colleagues.. Will be painting the town red man.. hehe.. It had been almost a year since our previous roadtrip.. The previous one was really crazy & fun.. This time round, more ppl are in.. Benny will be joining us together with Chris.. Seb & Hel will be joining us there on Sat.. Looking forward to the roadtrip.. :P

In another 2 more weeks, I will be heading to Phuket with my family!! Another relaxation trip.. Looking forward to reading a book, enjoying the sun with a cocktail in my hair along the beach.. Hope the weather will be superb.. Wondering should we go for the island trip.. The previous experience I had was really bad.. :( Erm, it is time to go to the Library & borrow the travel guide for Phuket.. hehe...

Just came back from dinner with Benny.. Was having my facial after work.. He came to fetch me & we went to Republic of Steak for dinner.. :) Was really happy with regards to the news he told me.. Will tell you guys what it is about when the time ripe..

Started my collagen regime yesterday.. Hope it will help to close up my pore, prevent more breakouts & most importantly, make my acne marks lighten & make my skin more radiant.. It is going to be a long term maintenance thing if it really works for me.. What to do?? Woman are afraid of getting old, even if we are going ( WHICH we all do!! ), we have to grow old beautifully & gracefully man!!

It has been close to a month since I last updated my blog.. Work is as usual for me but quite alot of things happened in my office.. Went out for a outing with my colleagues @ this Argentina restaurant called Salta @ the Icon Village.. OMG, the steak is fantastic.. The sides & sausages are superb too!! It is really a must try for meatlovers.. :P The most impt thing, the food is really affordable.. Will definitely be going there again.. :P

As for me & benny, we are back to normal.. Going out on weekend & once on weekday, enjoying each others company.. We went to La Maison on Fri together with Micho, Seb, Helene, Veron, Amy & one of their frenz.. First time there & I think it will be my last also.. The place is really inaccessible without a car and for me, I think it is too secluded.. But I mus said, it is really different from the usual club I went to..

Apart from going to club in such a long time, we also went to take a look at the new ECs at Buangkok called Esparina.. Well, it is the 1st ECs after 5 years.. Very nice concepts & very nice location.. We were really tempted to get it but.......... NO MONEY!! Looking at the average 3 bedroom, it will cost around 800k, meaning we will have to pay 160k in the next 6 weeks if we were to get the place.. Minus all the grants, cpf etc, we will need to fork out at least 100k in cash... I really wonder how ppl can fork out so much money!!

I was quite depressed.. Looking at the hdb, we are about to hit our income cap of 8k in the near future.. Meaning we wont be able to get a hdb from the govt cause even if now, our combined income is less den 8k, but as long as it exceed during TOP, you will be forfeited the chance.. So next best options, ECs & DBSS which is having a 10k income.. But look at those recent DBSS & ECs, with a selling price of between 600-1.1m, how are we able to fork out that amount of cash at this age, with our combined income of 10k MAX..

Some ppl might say, how about resale.. Yeah.. Look at the crazy COVs of resale flat these days.. Easily coming up to 70k.. We will still have to fork out 70k cash other than the valuation amount of the flat.. What is the difference of getting a EC and a resale since we need to fork out a sum which is almost equivalent to one another.. We are really the SCREWED generation.. With no chance of us to make it big & neither chance to be beggar.. The sandwiched class.........

Inflations is hitting us with prices escalating exponentially.. Looking at my bank book, I wonder where has all my money gone to during the 2 years of my work.. Seems like I din save much over the past 2 years.. Ever since I started my new job, I had been monitoring what am I spending on & keeping track of that.. Every month, the spending will come to almost 1k plus & that is excluding those bills that are fixed.. I am jus spending as per normal, on food, sometimes on clothes.. JUST WHERE HAS MY MONEY GONE TO!!

Another issues that happened was, I was supposed to go Krabi with Chris, Ida, Pat & Curt.. But our flight got pushed backwards, meaning we have to stay there for 1 week, instead of the original 5 days.. We cancelled the flight and hotel in the end.. I am still awaiting for the refund of my flight & hotel..

In the end, I decide to go Phuket with my mum instead.. Will be going there for 4 days with my sis, my bro & my mum.. The air ticket is really cheap, $98 per pax & hotel for 3 night only costs us $300 max for a family room.. Probably because its still the non-peak season when we go there.. For those who want to go there in Jan, the ticket is only $58 for return but pls be prepared to pay 3x more for the hotel due to the peak season.. :P

Looking forward to the Phuket trip with my family, the KL trip with my ex-colleage ( if it materialise ) & the BBK trip with benny in Feb.. OK, that seems really long.. haha.. Well, was thinking of having a philippines trip with Micho to visit my colleagues in Manila but I think we have to shelf this plan cause we are really short-handed at the moment.. :P

Meanwhile, I am having this dilemma, should I get a camera for this upcoming trip.. Had been wanting to get a new camera, one with better image quality & sophisticated functions than the one I had for quite some time.. Went to check out the cameras with Carlos last Fri @ Funan.. Was really tempted to get the s95 on the spot man.. But mus work out my finance first, really quite tight for this month.. :(

Had a really bad quarrel with Benny last Fri.. It has been a long long time since we last quarreled until so bad.. We nearly broke up.. Had a nice talk out & everything seems back to normal now.. But is that really the case?? Is everything back to the same before the quarrel start?

Weekend seems really precious, esp after I started working.. You will notice the vast difference between weekend & weekdays now cause unlike the past, you dun have all the time to yourself.. Now, blogging seems like a luxury to me cause after work, I will be too tired to blog about wat is happening to me each day.. I will try to blog once a week as a summary now.. IF time allows, I will blog more den..

Had a mild food poisoning last week.. After having this mini-steamboat thingy with my mum.. I am the only one with the Kim Chi pot, maybe that is the reason why Benny & my Mum are fine..

Finally had a meet-up with the gals, Anna & Shaoyun, to celebrate Anna's birthday that lies on 12 aug.. ;P We were either too busy with work or other stuffs, it is so hard for us to be free on the same night, esp now Anna has changed her job.. It is uncertain whether she needs to stay for OT or not..

We went to CWP to have dinner.. Mus thx the gal for agreeing to meet at CWP cause of my conditions.. ( Dun wish to travel after dinner & squeeze with the crowd back home ) We had Japanese food & catch up with one another.. Finally got to know the story behind Shao Yun's proposal & the marriage life of Anna.. Too bad it is a weekday, if not we can stay out later & catch up more with one another..

Finally, weekend is here.. Met up with Qin Cheng on Fri.. Was supposed to meet for KTV at Katong but in the end, it was cancelled.. We met at Vivo for dinner, did some catching up & met his frenz.. After that, I went to meet, Helene, Seb & Chris @ CQ.. Went there for SheeSha.. ;p We din stayed there for long, feeling tired after a long week at work..

Benny came over to pick me & we went back to his place.. The next morning, we woke up early to have brekkie @ Cafe Cartel.. It's been so long since we last went there for brekkie.. We did not ordered alot but we felt really full after the meal..

Came back to my place to get my passport b4 heading to JB.. Going in to check out our car, ever since we change the absorber, the cranking sound is still there, so it is better to do a check.. I never expect it to be so long, i waited there doing nth for 2 hours & that is excluding the time we went to eat the Ba Kut Teh nearby..

Finally, everything was done.. Was shocked to know the cost of the repair @ the end of the session.. I duno if it is expensive or what, but its just not what we expect the bill to come up to.. So we were both abit sianz.. We got to know about the workshop from an online forum, stating that it is honest & such.. Like what I said, I really duno the range for the work involved, so there is nth I can comment.. Just one thing to note, check the prices with carefully with the vendor before anything is done.. This doesnt jus apply to cars but on all aspescts.. Like the dinner we had along the Food Street near City Square, I felt ripped off once again when I ordered the Stingray & Sambal Sotong.. They just give me some weird weird parts & charge me higher price for it..

We went back home quite early that day as we were broke from the repair.. :P Was surprised cause totally no jam at the causeway during the peak hours ( 9pm - 12am ) I reached home around 10 plus.. Bought a new moisturiser from faceshop, hope it will help me do something good to my face.. It's damn cui these days..

Sunday, is family day.. Well, to certain point it is.. It was drizzling, so benny went to have porridge with us @ Chinatown.. We had an argument in between and I think it is better for me to leave him alone for the day.. I sent him home.. I send my mum to RWS to collect her mooncake before sending her to my grandma's place.. There was this 7th month bai bai thingy happening there.. Guess this will also be the last time it is happening..

I went to Bugis with my sis to shop.. I think this is the first time I went shopping with my sis alone.. Quite fun.. I missed shopping with gals.. You have someone to discuss with you, giving comments & you no need to scare that she wasnt enjoying herself.. ( Most gals love shopping !! )

We went to this Japanese Cafe @ Bugis Junction & ordered this Curry Katsu Omu Rice.. OMG, its yummiliciou!! Continue our shopping after that.. Was browsing at SK jewellery & duno why, I end up buying a necklace for my mum.. haha.. Mus be the salesperson & my sis...

I just did a posting on fb marketplace to sell my pair of shoes from korea.. Jus picked it up from shu's on wed, after 1 mth of storage at her place.. We were both too busy to meet up for the past 1 mth..

Went out with Benny on Wed, to 'celebrate' our 20th mth anniversary.. ( We dun celebrate our anniversary every mth, it's jus a simple night out to have dinner.. ) It is more of like a 2-in-1 thing, cause I just got confirmed for my job.. It really came as a shock cause I am only working there for 2 mths.. I am really grateful & happy when my boss informed me about it cause I can plan for my holiday now!! YEAH~~

We went to Holland Village for dinner.. Settled at Breeko after walking around.. Had their set dinner.. Both of us ordered the same thing, steak.. Well, should have gone for Les Bouchons

@ Robertson Quay.. I had been having cravings for their steak for quite some time, but it is out of the way for Benny if he need to send me home after that.. Travelling up & down...

On Fri, I met Chris for dinner b4 meeting Benny, who was having their Co. event at Turf Club.. Went home straight after fetching him as I am having a terrible headache.. What a thing to happen on a Fri night.. :(

Went to the NATAS travel fair yesterday.. Mummy were supposed to go with us one but were deterred after I told her that we need to pay for the entrance & the crowd will be crazy, judging from past trends.. In the end, just me & Benny went to the fair @ Expo.. We went to Ikea @ Tampines to have our lunch first b4 heading down.. I love their meatballs, the chicken wings & their salmon.. OMG!!

I was surprised that when we reached Expo, it wasnt as crowded as what I imagined it to be.. No doubt the carpark was full but at least it is still walkable.. Maybe I went there in the late afternoon, most ppl already went there early morning to book for their tour..

I wanted to go there to check out the tour for Korea.. Wanted to go there at the end of the year.. I was overwhelmed by the informations of the tour & the pricing.. There are so many different packages around & their price can differ quite abit..

I am quite interested in what Dynasty Travel is offering, maybe it is because the salesperson takes her time to explain to me & show me pictures on what we will be doing there.. They also have this Ice-Fishing thingy which will only happen between 15 Jan to End Feb if i am not wrong.. This is not available in the other packages.. Well, good service & special experience will normally comes with a high price.. The whole tour will cost about 2k per pax, unlike the others we seen which cost between 1.5k - 1.8k..

By the time we are done with the fair, its close to 930.. Finally can have our dinner.. We went to the Old Town Cafe @ ECP.. Had their prawn hor fun that taste damn spicy!!

Slp until late in the noon & miss out the chance for a Sunday Brunch.. Went to Central to have our lunch @ Manhattan Fish Market before going to Bugis to tabao my fav desserts.. :P

It is another weekend which I dun do much things but totally enjoyed what I am doing..

I have never felt so happy for such a long time.. Yes, I do feel for the past 2 years when I am working but it is always for a short period of time.. I will have grudges for stuffs like no time with my family, no time to do my own things, not enough rest etc.. But now, I am really happy with how I am in control of my time & how things turn out for me...

I finally had time to do the things I always like to do in the past like baking, cooking.. The most funny thing that happened 2 days ago was, I tot my mum bought a new chopping board, when I asked her about it, she told me it was there for almost 1.5yrs!! This goes to show how long I haven been noticing about things at my place..

I am beginning to enjoy my life now, slowing down my pace to feel what is happening around me.. I am not just eating for the sake of eating now, doing things for the sake of doing it.. I am trying to savour every moment of my life & living it to the fullest..

As compared to alot of ppl, I own alot of things.. I have a harmony family, parents who loves me alot and we can communicate well.. Though me & my siblings has a huge age gap, at least we are not at loggerheads & can get along with one other.. I have a job which I enjoy doing now.. I have a bf whom I am really happy to be with and treats me well.. I have frenz who can click with me and confide in.. I have more free time now to do what I like to do... I have so many things and these are the things ppl always take for granted.. ( I dun deny I took them for granted before.. )

Life can be really simple and one can feels contented easily also.. It is just a matter of whether you appreciate what you are having.. Sometimes, the most simplest thing in your life is actually the one which is the most impt one to you.. Treasure what you already have and dun keep harping on what you dun have or cannot have.. Life will be happier this way... I know this is easier said than done..

Some ppl might think I am BS-ing also.. I am just writing out what I felt at this point of time.. This might be just be for the moment.. The next moment, I might start complaining about some other things or feeling upset again.. Well, this is inevitable.. This is life, isnt it?? What I am saying is, AT THIS VERY MOMENT, I am very thankful for the things I have & own..

A day in JB..

Went to JB with Daron, XY, Chris & Benny yest.. Mau was supposed to join us but in the end, he pang sei us cause he need to pack his stuffs @ home.. The main purpose of the trip is to collect & buy contact lens..

Daron came to fetch me & Benny at my place around 3.. Decided to take one car instead of driving 2 cause its more fun to squeeze in one car.. We went to Aston to grab a bite first before going in.. Knew there will be a huge jam.. Around 415, we started our JB adventure trip.. The jam lasted for 1 hour 15 min.. ( Which is considered fast for a Sat )

We went to City Square.. Bought Auntie Anne!! Feels so satisfied after eating that.. I had the Sour Cream one, Benny had the Cinnamon Sugar & Daron had the Garlic one.. Yum Yum..

Went to collect Chris contact lens before heading to where I usually get my contact lens & specs.. The boss was there & gave us some discount.. Then we just shop around the place.. Bought some magazines with Chris.. By then, it was close to 7 already..

We left City Square & decide to go to the Permas Jaya Jusco, a place where no one in the car knows where it is.. haha.. ( Actually I know la, just that I dun rem the name of the place ususally.. I jus rem the building & road.. BUT not the name of the road.. ) We manage to get to the place after following the signboard.. No holland-ing this time round.. :P

Busy shopping for our own stuffs.. We were abit over-excited.. haha..

Temptation no 2 is... A&W.. I miss their root beer float.. Went in straight to order once I saw it.. But was disappointed with their service & serving.. Totally different from the one I had in Bali.. Their ice-cream is those scoop one, not those machine-made like..

Finally we managed to get out of the mall in 15 mins, when the usual walk out will took less den 5min.. haha.. We tried our best & manage to pack the things we bought into Daron's car boot.. haha..

The seafood place is jus 5 min drive away from Jusco.. I never knew there are so many Seafood restaurant around that area.. And they are all those facing the sea type.. We went to the one XY went to her frenz last time..

The food was cooked in Malay style.. Tasted quite ok.. I like their steamed fish.. Taste really good.. But too bad I was having a sore throat if not I would have finished the soup.. :(

We decide to go for massage at .. It wasnt as crowded as the last time we went there.. We took up the shoulder massage package & decide to try out cupping.. I totally duno what is that for, just join in the fun only lo..

The massage was really good.. Felt really relaxed after that.. As for the cupping, the pain was bearable when the auntie is doing it for me.. But after the session, OMG.. there are so many BLUE-BLACK behind my back.. It is literally blue-black, no kidding.. Some of the blue-blacks are really painful while some are not.. Jus hope that those marks will subside soon so that I can wear my sleeveless dresses.. :(

We went to the petrol station & waited for an hour b4 Daron's car got washed.. The business at the car wash centre is really good man.. By the time we are done, it's already 2am in the morning.. There are still jam near the custom.. Managed to get home at 230am.. Bath & just went straight to bed..

It was a fun trip.. Just going there to shop, eat seafood & massage.. No wonder so many Singaporean will still go to JB during weekends despite the Jam..

Tiring day

I was feeling super tired today.. Probably because I did not have much rest over the past weekend.. Woke up early on Sat to prepare the cake & then tuition.. Slp late on Sat & woke up early on Sun again.. :P

It will be damn great if I am staying near town cause I can woke up later & not waking up like 615 every morning.. ( Well, this is much better than in the past when I used to work up at 530 every morning ) I guess human are just not easily contented to what they have ba..

It's dear 1st day @ work today.. This is the first time after we got together he woke up around the same time in the morning as me to go to work.. :P Wondering is he adaptable to the early hours..

Was clearing some of my clothes during weekend.. Realised I still had alot of clothes which I have not wore from Bangkok & HK.. I know that quite a no. of them are those I will not touch one.. But I cant bear to give them away or just let it rot there cause it is so space-consuming.. Am thinking of joining some forum & sell the clothes at a cheaper price.. But when I think of the hassle of taking the photos & uploading them....... SIANZ!!

Happy birthday dear!! It's my 2nd birthday spent with him.. Last year, I planned a surprise meeting with his frenz at St James.. This year, no surprise planning & meeting, just me & him... I have made the reservation for 'The Line' a mth ago on the actual day of his birthday...

On Fri, I went back home straight after work to get ingredients to make him a cake.. Been ages since I last make the Oreo Cheesecake.. Need to go online & check the recipe.. In the past, I can remember it all by my heart.. haha.. That goes to show that how long I havent been making that!!

I did the cake in 2 stages.. I make the crusts of the cake on Fri night.. Took me an hour plus to make that.. The next morning I woke up at 830 to complete the cake.. Took me another 1.5 hours b4 I send the cake into the freezer.. Have to wait for another 2 hours before the cake is FINALLY ready.. Looks pretty decent.. hehe..

Benny came to fetch me at 4 plus & we head down to Orchard.. We went to Ion Orchard to grab a bite.. Seems like we are quite a glutton.. Cant seem to get out of the place without getting ourself full.. There are so many new stalls there & each & everyone of em seemed really interesting to us..

We finally manage to leave the food hall & make started shopping around.. We make our way to Lucky Plaza where we had our dinner @ the Indonesian eatery @ level 2.. Went to Taka after that to get some vouchers for Anna's birthday.. While on the way out, we passed by the wallet section & sth catches my fancy.. Was in a dilemma whether to get this or the Miu Miu wallet.. I got the wallet in the end, AND it was Benny who bought it for me!! hehe..

We went to the Marina Boulevard after that to catch the YOG fireworks.. Just in time to catch the finale of the flame relay & the last fireworks of the ceremony.. The atmosphere is not bad over there & it is a nice place to catch fireworks..

This morning, we woke up at 1030am for our Sunday Brunch @ The Line.. Why so early?? Cause I am a normal gal & need lotsa time to prepare!! haha..

We reached Shangri-la @ 12.. It was quite crowded.. As compared to the last time I came with my family.. The brunch spread is much much better.. There are alaskan crab, small lobster, mocktails, coffees, scallops, strawberry fondue.. OMG.. I was overwhelmed.. No wonder the Sunday Brunch is so much more expensive!!

2nd Batam Trip..

I had been looking forward to the trip for the past 2 weeks.. Was really happy that Benny organised the short trip for us.. I just started my new job so I can't go on an overseas trip that will require a weekday as I do not have any leave.. But I still hope to go on a vacation to recharge & relax.. ( OK, I know I just came back from HK like less than 2 months.. haha )

I realise the importance of taking a short break & going overseas to 'free' the mind after I started working.. Maybe my previous job is very straining mentally, physically & emotionally.. That is why, I had become addicted to travelling..

We went to Harbourfront early in the morning.. Did not check the timing of the ferry & ended up missing the earlier ferry.. In the end, we took the 1210 one.. Went to Mac for brekkie after checking out BK, which only opened at 10am.. ( I really missed BK brekkie!! )

We only manage to reach Batam at 2pm.. Haiz, half a day gone.. Has to make very good use of the time there.. The sun was blazing & it deterred us from going to the pool.. Our spa was being scheduled at 7pm.. It's really weird cause we need to go for our candlelight dinner.. By the time our spa end, the restaurant will be closed soon.. Checked with the staff & they managed to tell the kitchen to close abit later for us..

We went down to have our lunch.. The pizza is great!!

After the meal, we went to take a walk around the resort.. There are so many private cabana beside the pool.. And the sundeck looks cool also...

The spa was located at the rooftop of a seperate building nearby.. Most of their recreation facilities are located there.. We went to the spa earlier, intending to use the jaccuzzi & the sauna.. But we manage to get a slot for spa earlier.. Yeah!! The sun was about to set & we got a hut that is facing the sea..

After 2 hours of massage & bubble bath session, we felt really refreshed.. By the time, the sky has turned dark but its still quite windy.. We take a slow walk & went to the beach side restaurant for our dinner..

Got a seat near the sea.. Ambience is not bad BUT there are alot of sea cockroaches around!! ( For those gals who are scared of that, take the seats that are nearer to the open-kitchen.. )

The food was really good.. Benny had the salmon steak while I had my beef steak.. ( Been in this steak mode recently for as long as I can remember!! ) I am totally in love with the steak!! It's so succulent & tender..

Around 11 plus, we finished our dinner.. The resort was really quiet by that point of time.. We went back to the room & watched the tv before heading to bed..

The next morning, we woke up for our breakfast around 9 plus.. The breakfast is not really fantastic.. Jus some basic american style brekkie, porridge & some indonesian dish..

We went back to our room to pack.. Intending to go for a dip before going back to Singapore but it started raining.. :( No swimming & lazing at the poolside cabana..

They granted us the late check-out.. We went down to the lobby at 2 plus to wait for the coach to send us to the ferry terminal..

This time round, the terminal wasnt as crowded as the previous time we went..

We reached Singapore around 5 & went to Vivo for our lunch & dinner.. :P Went to the HK cafe & later to the dessert place at Level 1.. That ended our short getaway..

Really wish to have another vacation soon.. Where will my next destination be???

Just had a sumptuous buffet dinner with my family @ The Line.. One of the famous international buffet in Singapore..

We used to go for buffet quite often in the past & our favourite international buffer place is the Vienna at United Square if I am not wrong.. Like what I said, those were in the past.. Ever since I started working, things changed.. Mostly because my S*****d job took up ALOT of my time & also, me getting attached.. Time is never enough for me when I was in my previous job!!

The restaurant was quite full by the time we reached there.. I was "Woah" by the amount of food they served.. There are so many sections & everything looks good.. How am I supposed to try everything, which is my goal for the day?!?

I tried my best to try everything but I failed.. ( No worries, cause I will be going for the buffet in Aug, during Benny's birthday.. ) I really enjoyed the food & the time spent with my family.. Chatting & laughing while enjoying our food..

Their sashimi, crabs & oyster are really good.. It is so fresh.. The staff will open the oyster on the spot when you want them.. Another thing that won me over is the desserts... ( I admit, I am a sucker for desserts.. hehe.. )

Just reached home not long ago.. Went to catch Despicable Me with Benny @ MS.. We wanted to get the movie for the so-called best movie of the year aka Inception.. It's either the timing is too late or the slots are fully booked.. That is why we watched Despicable Me instead..

Frankly speaking, I am not a big fan of cartoon.. The trailer of the show also din stir any interest of me wanting to catch the show.. Well, after watching it, I find it quite entertaining.. It's the kind of show which will let you relax and free ur mind after work.. Like a mind ''cleanser''.. haha.. The minions inside the show are really cute..

After the show, we went to find my mum for dinner.. Had the teochew porridge at Havelock there before coming home.. I really wonder why the teochew porridge is so expensive.. Isit a norm or it's jus there..

Today I jus realise that I had made a miscalculation.. The price of the LV epi leather wallet I wanted to buy is converted to USD & not SGD by me previously.. That's why I think the wallet is cheap.. After the correct conversion I did this evening, it's close to 900!!! Wow, now I am really having 2nd thoughts to get the wallet.. But the problem is, I really need one.. Haiz..

Hope can find some subsidy somewhere.. ;p Maybe there is really a Santa around!!

It's time for me to change a new wallet.. The coin pouch which I had been using is with me since 2005.. It was a gift from a frenz and ever since then, it had accompanied me through close to 95% of these 5 yrs..

If it wasn't because the coin purse is going to spoil soon, I doubt I will want to get a wallet.. This purse had accompanied me through "THICK & THIN".. haha.. Really can't bear to say goodbye to it..

I love wallets or purse that can let me put all my stuffs in.. Though its a coin purse, I had practically put everything into.. My access card, my Ezlink card, my credit card, my coins, my notes etc.... ( No wonder it's going to spoil!! ) Needless to say, its small too.. Thus, I can save the trouble to change wallet when I change to a smaller bag... There's so much good points about my current purse, so you know how I cant bear to change it & how much I love it... Haiz...

Been looking at some designs for wallet & thinking through should I get a bigger wallet than the one I have now.. I know I needed one which is durable like the one I am having cause I hate to change wallet.. That is the most impt criteria for me now apart from it being nice looking to me.. haha..

Apart from a wallet which I really need.. I realise there are alot of things which I wanted to get now.. Yes, it's a WANT not a NEED!! Finally I am able to differentiate the difference between these 2 & finding a balance for it.. But frankly, it's damn hard la!! It's about being rational but as you know, when it comes to shopping, most gals doesnt have any rationale at all!! Sad to say, I am under that category!!

She & her bf have been for close to 9 years.. Really felt so excited & happy for her.. Opps.. I think I had said that before right.. haha.. I jus cant help it la.....

They were really a role model of true & lasting love.. Hehe..

We had been talking about this BBQ for close to 3 mths.. Finally, it came true.. But what's new, we always talk & talk then take very long to decide.. Thx to helene for lending us her place as our BBQ venue.. hehe..

Just like what the title said, sth happened.. I totally wish that it's not real.. It's not about me but it concerns me... I am having this Ostrich mentality for the past few days, thinking if I dun go and think about it den everything will just be fine or maybe it DID NOT even happened b4... Damn idiotic kinda mentality right??

But then, right now.. There is nth I can do also.. I totally duno what is the actual scenario.. I just know that 99.9%, we will not be able to recover it back anymore.. As the days goes by, the chances of retreiving it back becomes smaller & smaller... Haiz...

Why will this kinda thing happen?? Now, what I can think of is, at least no one is hurt in this incident.. It maybe a blessing in disguise already.. I really hope & pray with all my life that this kinda thing will not happen to anyone in my family ever AGAIN!!

Seems like my life has gone back to 2 years back, when I just finished my papers & am nua-ing at home.. I totally love this kinda feeling.. Able to wake up naturally & feeling refreshed.. ( Despite the 12 hrs of slp during weekends when I was still working, I would felt lethargic after waking up for ard 2 hrs.. ) Able to go out with my mum as & when I want..

Basically, I love to be in control with my own time..

I woke up at 10am yest.. Nua on my sofa watching TV b4 going to CWP with my mum to replace my 3G SIM card.. Finally, I succumb to the craze of iPhone & got myself one on Sunday.. Not only have I gotten my control of my time back, I also....... Uh-hm, sort of get a little tinny-winny bit more tech-savvy... ( OK, I know this is not sth to be boastful about.. )

Took my own sweet time having lunch at 3pm with my Mum, took my own sweet time walking ard the mall & then had a tea-break at Ya Kun.. Woohoo~~

As for today, we went to JB.. It's been 2 years, 2 WHOLE years since I last went there to have the famous Curry Fishhead at Jalan Wong Ah Fook.. I had forgotten how it taste like already.. :(

The place is still as crowded.. But I think the food wasnt as good as in the past, but in terms of efficiency, they had improved tremedously.. We got our food after sitting down for 3 mins.. No kidding, 3 mins & TA-DAH~~~ our pipping hot Curry Fishhead is on our table already..

Went to have my specs made.. I broke mine months ago & din have the time to go & get it made..

I totally love my life now, am embracing it with all my heart.. If I can go down to Mambo @ Zouk now, it will be PERFECT!!

It's my Sis's birthday today.. Happy birthday Sista!! ;p

The 3 ladies of the family went out on Friday & sort of have a mini celebration for my sis.. We were supposed to have Thai Steamboat @ Boat Quay but it was closed that day.. In the end, we went to a Korean Restaurant at Central instead..

My sis had been wanting to try some authentic korean food, ( she term it as those not sold at the Food Court one ) so we sort of ''fulfilled'' her wish that day.. I know nuts about korean food.. Just know that they had Kimchi, Ginseng Chicken, BBQ Chicken etc.. In the end, to save us the trouble from ordering the food, we decide to order the set meal for 2 instead.. haha..

On sat, after catching Shrek 4 & having a sumptuous dinner with Benny.. The Zzz monster came to attack me really early.. haha.. I went to bed at 10pm.. ( Damn early for a Sat night, esp I woke up at 2pm that afternoon!! ) But I woke up at 12 to sing b'day song for my sis..

In another 2 days' time, 1.5 days to be exact.. I will be leaving a place where I had spent 1.5yrs there.. Lotsa of memories & most of em are still vivid to me.. Seems like it jus happened yesterday..

I met a couple of frenz there.. They are really fun to be with & nice to talk with.. They treated me really nice & such.. Maybe its because I am the only gal around in the group & the youngest one somemore.. So they really treated me as a young sis & take care of me... But they also CORRUPT me with alot of things.. better don'y mention it here.. Its not PG or M18 at all!!

Apart of that, I also met Mr Benny there.. haha.. It's fate, isnt it?? He is only here for less than a month but still manage to won me over.. ;p Better stop it, if not he will boast to me again liao.. wahaha..

I still cannot feel anything special now.. Just like how I felt when we finished our 2 mths ''roadshow'' ( we machiam become anchor tenant there liao ) at Suntec.. I believe most of the gals in this world will have the same goal as me, as a woman, that is to look good.. Ok, good is an understatement.. It's to look GREAT aka drop dead gorgeous k

For frenz who knows me for a long time, they will know that I have a soft spots for skincare products and cosmetics.. I will keep buying & buying but use only a small amount of it then will chuck it aside.. In the end, I had to throw away almost unused skincare or cosmetic at the end of the 2 yrs.. It sounded wasteful, YES i agree..

Recently, after watching the CL2425 video on youtube & reading her blog, ( It's HIGHLY recommended!! You will be inspired to look your best everyday even if it means just going to the office.. But just be careful not to Overspend like me~~) I begin my shopping on all these cosmetic once again & this time round, it returns with VENGEANCE~~

It started with a eyeshadow palette and a eyebrow palatte................

Then things get a little out of control.. I bought a range of Make-up base, BB cream, Gel eyeliner, Mascara, MORE eyeshadows, Lipgloss, Blushers, Highlighters & Concealers.. Seems like I got myself well-covered but I dun think I will STOP here..

Recently I am more into getting rid of my dark eye circles ''artificially'' with the help of concealers.. The condition of it is worsen by my sleeping habit.. For the past 1.5 years, I never slp more than 7 hours during weekdays.. I cant blame it on my working hours totally cause I could have slp earlier ( around 9pm, to get the min 8 hrs/day).. Well, that is quite impossible for me..

I just bought the Shu's liquid form concealer.. ( Should have gotten the cream one since that texture has a better coverage.. ) The latest collection is the Missha Eye Primer Boomer~~

This is the description for the Yellow one I bought

I know once again, I had neglected my blog.. Haiz.. The thought of uploading photos and the speed of it is a major deterence.. That is why I prefer to go onto fb.. Cause i duno why, the speed of the uploading is much much more faster and the best thing is, I can just select all the photos I want ( ok, not more than 200 per album ) and ta-dah~~ everything will be set nicely in place..

There are tonnes of things which had happened over the past few months..

1 . I went on my FIRST bbk trip.. ( ok, i am a mountain turtle)

2. I went on my FIRST bali trip ( less than 5 wks after my BBK trip )

3. I attended 2 ROM ceremonies.. ( Billy's one in March & Anna's one like 2 days back )

4. I went for my FIRST hens party.. ( Ah ma is getting married this coming weekend!! )

5. THE MOST IMPT OF ALL~~~~ i quit my job.. ( yay, i am going to become a 无业游民 !! )

I will update all the happenings in the next few blogs with pictures.. As for now, I will just talk about the brunch session I had with the gals yesterday..

FIRST brunch outing @ Wild Honey..

The place was really packed and they dont take reservation, which is good also.. I was amazed by the varieties of breakfast they serve.. ENGLISH, AMERICAN, CANADIAN, MEXICAN~~~ the list go on and on.. I was stucked looking at the menu for as long as I can remember and I cant decide on what to eat..

We nearly went crazy over the make up there & I indulge myself in the world of make up & succumb to it once again.. But I am really in search of a blusher & something that will create wonder to my worst nightmare aka the dark eye circle monster!!! ( Eh-hem, trying to find excuse for myself again.. )

We went to Lucky Plaza, Far East & Bugis Junction after that.. Trying to search for the perfect gatecrashing stuffs but the thing which we wanted to create the effect is not cost efficient at all..

met Benny for dinner.. He came to fetch me & we went to this steak place next to Allson hotel.. It's not an eye-catching place but their food is GREAT!! Their lamb is the best I had ever tasted.. Yummy~~

Well, I guess I have to update my blog more often, it seems to be like an abandoned blog.. I shouldnt say it seems, I should say it IS abandon by me ever since i started my job..

Ok, I dun wish to talk about it today here.. I jus wanan blog about wat had happened over the weekend...

Sat was a lazing aka lazy day for me.. Guess wat time i woke up? ( Sorry, no prize for those who guess correctly.) Freaking 4 pm!! Give me a benefit of doubt k? I slp ard 5am the day before.. ( Meaning, I was up for almost 24 hours straight. )

We went to Suntec ard 6? Wanted to have Aston but well, it has become too popular.. Even at this hour, the queue is super duper long..

Met Yusheng, his gf and his sis there.. Opps... Think that is the 1st time he saw me w/o make-up.. I looked damn CUI~~ Esp I was having my breakout these days.. OMG... :P

We walked ard, looking the the tour exhibition that QC told me about but we couldnt find any.. Decide to do some window shopping & saw this new mask.. O2 mask that will fizzle n sizzle after you applied it, claiming to infuse O2 into your skin in the process.. It cost freaking 100 bucks.. Wow, it does cost a bomb to look beautiful isnt it?

I give that mask a miss.. Too atas for me already.. I bought a new cleanser instead cause i attribute my recent breakout to my old cleanser which I had been using for more den 2 yrs? I always believe to change cleanser once in a while to have the best maximum effect..

We went to Bakers Inn to grab a bite after that.. My intention is to get their latte.. In need of caffeine really badly.. ;p We had their set meal & I was wow-ed by the pizza that they serve using crust that they used to make puffs..

PS : Only certain Bakers Inn served this set meal SO better checked with the staff before you sit down.. Cause jus now, I went to 1 outlets ( dun wan to mention which one) & was rudely replied by a staff with this pc of information..

OK, i feeling damn buay gam wan... Jus wanna blog this out..

I was surprised when I sat down & din see the set meal card in the menu.. So I asked the staff do they serve the set meal here? They said they dun.. So I asked her is that only available at certain outlet only cause I jus went to Suntec a couple of days back & they do serve it.. ( Well, she could have said ya.. ) But she replied this... ' But this is the V*** branch... ' I also know this is wat shopping centre.. Am i an idiot to not know where I am? Trying to play punk with me lo... In e end, I jus left that place with my mum... ( Well, some of you might think this is a small issue & I was jus being too sensitive.. Probably you are right.. But neither am I wrong too.. Cause its quite subjective & I jus dun like her tone when she talk to me.. )

Enough of this.. Sorry for digressing so much... ;p

We went to Ikoi to have their Japanese buffet.. I was won over by their sashimi when Benny brought me there almost a year back.. Its the first time I tasted Swordfish Sashimi.. Totally love it.. So this time round, I make a reservation 2 wks back & brought my family to enjoy the food...

Alot of pictures but too lazy & too much of a project for me to upload here.. Well, I think I am still a comp dummy after all these years...

After a sumptuous & I meant really sumptuous meal... We went to RWS to look ard.. Its my 1st time there (yeah, my virgin trip) ever since it opened in Feb.. Wanna check out the VS there.. Totally no intention to go to the Casino cause i think its damn bo hua to go on a Sunday.. Cant fully utilise the 24 hours levy due to work the next day....

Was a little disappointed with the shopping scene there.. ( OK, i admit that everything there is too pricey for me..) But the thing is, I jus wan to find a nice coffee place for me to sit down & relax but I cant find any... Probably most of the stores are not opened yet..

Overall.. Its a relaxing weekend...

it's another birthday.. time seems to be flying once u started working.. what happened on my 24th birthday still seem very vivid to me.. I went to work on that day & received a bouquet of roses during lunch from Arthur.. It was a really beautiful bouquet of 12 red roses.. After work, we went for dinner and timbre with Daron, Seb, Art and Jax.... haha.. Cant believe 1 yr has passed....

As for this b'day, I had a celebration with Anna & Shao Yun.. A simple gathering and dinner at Orchard.. But i really appreciate the initiation of the celebration and gathering.. It really warm my heart...

I had my celebration with my family and Benny on Sun.. It was also a simple dinner, but its been very long since we had dinner together as a family and it was also the first dinner for benny and my whole family.. :) Before the dinner, Benny & I went shopping at Orchard and he got me the LV bag which I had been eyeing for very long.. :p

I cant take leave on the actual day.. Had to go to work but I mus thx the market for being nice to me.. hehe.. Wanna thx my colleagues and friends who wishes me over the day... Its really heartwarming to know that they still remember my b'day and care to even msg me.. ;) I had been a very 'heartless' frenz over the years and din really msg my frenz during their b'day cause some times it really slipped my mind or I was too busy with work and forgot about it... Well, I know it should not be an excuse.. Another of my new yr resolution now will be not to be so absentminded and try my very best to show my frenz that i do care about them.. :p

Benny took leave specially for me so that he could help me celebrate.. He came to fetch me after work and we went to Central for dinner.. We went to this place known as Watami..

After dinner, we took a walk b4 going to Bugis to have dessert.. I went to his place after that and that is the end of my celebration.. Its really simple and not at all elaborate.. Quite different from wat I will do in the past.. Well, i guess that is a part of growing up too and being too caught up with work.. B'day now seems to be like just another day.. Nth special, when it used to be a BIG hooha to me.. Now, a simple dinner with ppl who care for me is suffice for me and what really matter the most to me...

Another small add-on.. haha.. During the day, I received a vase of flower from a fren.. It really came as a surprise.. I saw jenny bring it into the room but I never tot it was for me.. When she brought it to me, I was stumped..

haven been blogging in the middle of the night for quite some time..

just reached home not long ago.. was with dear the whole 24 hours.. met him yesterday night after chilling out at Overeasy with some of my colleagues.. we went to get the car together n drove to One Rochester.. Went to ECP after that & was surprised to bump into his Uni frenz who were chilling there..

After that, we went to Bedok 85, wanted to eat the Ba Chor Mee but went too late le.. Everything was closed except for the porridge stall, managed to order the last bowl of porridge b4 they closed..

Today, we woke up as usual ard 3 plus.. haha.. Din manage to make full use of the change in driving OPC on Sat ruling fully.. ;p

We went to Bugis cause want to shop for our CNY clothes.. It was really packed.. Manage to get a parking lot and we went to have our first meal of the day at 5 plus at Bugis junction.. The weather was making us really pissed and the crowd make it even worse.. Hope our Bangkok vacation wont be like this, if not I dun think I will be able to do much shopping..

Bought 4 dresses, a bag and 3 pairs of earrings for myself.. As for dear, he got himself 2 T-shirts, 3 shirts and a Bermuda.. haha.. We really bought alot of things and all the shopping was done within 1.5 hours.. haha.. We are really quick shopper.. Dun waste anytime..

Went to Arab Street for shisha.. the place was packed too!! We took a walk around the whole area and it was a new experience for the both of us.. We went to the usual place and it was really relaxing until i fell aslp there.. haha..

Ard 12 plus, we went to Textile Centre.. Desmond & Ross were there, checking our one of the largest thai disco there.. We went there to find them and check out the place.. The place used to be a cinema and the place was really huge.. I quite like that place.. Seems to be the nicest and spacious thai disco i had gone to..

Will be meeting Anna & Shao Yun for my advanced b'day celebration.. Cannot believe that my b'day is round the corner again.. In less than 2 weeks I will be 25 already.. Age is really catching up on me and time really wait for no one...

feeling really sianz about my life once again.. its like doing the same thing all the time.. mon i will be dragging my feet out of my bed, hoping that it will be weekend once again.. when its fri, i will feel really energetic.. will be meeting dear some times for late night movie and go his place n stay after that...

Sat we will slp until really late in the noon and went out for our 3 in 1 meal.. ( breakfast + lunch + dinner) then we will shop ard, duno where to go most of the time.. jus walk n window shop.. ard 9 or 10 plus he will either send me home and go back or he will come over to my place and we will watch Guess x3 together while having dessert at times...

Sun.. he will go for his soccer game sometimes while i go for my facial.. if not, i will jus stay at home, waiting for his game to end & we will go out together after that... At night, i will drag my feet home and went to bed ard 1130 after watching some show and talking to him on the phone... THEN, the moment when i woke up, the cycle will start once more...

I am jus abit sianz already.. Life seems to be missing something or should i say my life seems to be missing sth.. At my age, it should be more vibrant and having abit more prog.. I think I need to take up some courses or try to learn new stuffs like diving or dancing.. If not, i should meet up more with my frenz and catch up with em...

Ever since i started my job, I have been neglecting alot of my frenz due to lack of time and energy... My job had sapped away alot of my personal time and whenever I have those time, I would be either slping or jus nuaing at home.. Totally do not wish to do anything that will require any more energy...

I love my job and I totally agree with my seniors that, whenever you have time off from this job, take a break.. Go overseas and have a change of environment cause we really deserve one..

Am really looking forward to my Bangkok trip in Feb... Am looking forward to my payout also cause I think its really time for me to reward myself with a bag tat i had always wanted for myself.. hehe..

1st year anniversary~~

This year X'mas was the most memorable one I have had in my entire life.. Last year when we got together on X'mas I already tot that will be the most happening X'mas already but, I was wrong...

We had never ever done so much things within such a short period.. What really surprised me is, on X'mas eve, he gave me a really huge surprise!! He sent me a big bouquet of roses to my office. It really make my day. When Jenny came in with the flowers and passed em to me, I was damn shocked and keep asking her is that really for me? It causes some commotion in the office and I was blushing when I took the flowers from her.

After getting the flowers, I cant help smiling to myself and was really happy and surprised by his gesture. I have never ever tot he would get me flowers and get em sent to my workplace.. :) It was really sweet of him.. I can still rem, the first rose I received from him was on the same day a year back.. There was a card attached to it but I did not realised until he called me when he woke up, trying to sound me out whether sth 'special' happened at work today or not? I lied to him saying I received flowers from someone but there wasnt anything to show who sent me those flowers.. ( I knew the flowers was from him because the receipt showed his hp no. )

I read the card after some search and saw his msg.. Well, the sotong me could not understand the chim meaning until Maurice told me that the huge red rose in the centre is fake one.. There are 12 roses in total, 11 pink and 1 big red one.. I finally got his meaning!!! hehe

I came home after having lunch with my colleagues, feeling damn tired but cant take a nap cause need to do final touch-up for the gift I am giving him that night.. Tot he will be ending ard 10 but ard 7 plus he told me he can go off le.. OMG, i haven even go n get my wine, I haven even
finished the touching up.. ;p Had to rush n rush and make him wait for me for 2 hours in the office!! Felt really bad about it....

We went to Central for dinner and took a walk along the river.. It was really crowded..

I was deciding to go to either Sentosa or Mt Faber for countdown cause its easier to surprise him with the gifts i placed in the car boot.. :) We went to the park near One Fullerton, the place where everything began.. hehe.. Ard 1130, we left for Sentosa.. We had out countdown in the car, the first possession we own together.. Its quite signigicant also..

We went to Tanjong Beach and its time to unveil the surprises.. Hehe.. I told him to go and open the car boot and he was quite surprised to see what I had prepared.. We look throught the album together.. The album of our memories.. :) Then I took out the wine which i had prepared in the ice box and we sat along the beach with our mat.. The sky is pretty clear and we could see lotsa stars when we lied down, sipping our wine.. It was really a nice and cool X'mas..

25th Dec (X'mas Day)

We slp until the noon as usual and fetched his sis to Orchard b4 heading to Great World for lunch.. Right after lunch, we went back to his place to get his Grad robe to prepare for the theme for tonights' Paranormal X'mas at the legendary Ivory Heights aka Shu's place.. Decided to dress up as Harry Potter.. Really no time to prepare for the party..

Right after that, we went to JP.. It was really crowded but luckily the place we intend to go was quite ok.. Our motive to go there is for the DIY deco cake.. We wanted to get the log cake and deco it for tonights' party but they dun have it anymore.. In e end, we got the normal one.. Well, I really pity the cake cause I think we really make a mess.. haha.. But it was really fun..

I went to shu's place at 7, Jackson & Joanne were there with their costume on.. Dear was abit shocked when he saw em.. haha.. Think he is not used to how crazy we can go with our party.. He left for his JC gathering at Bedok while I stay, awaiting for the others to reach.. It was really fun to be sitting with my JC frenz, talking about our life now and think about how idiotic we are when we were in JC..

We started taking photos at our legendary place with alot of weird weird pose.. Den we decided to go out for Trick Or Treats on X'mas eve.. Our challenge of the night is to take a picture with a stranger.. Everyone accomplished our mission unscathed.. But thk we created a commotion when we were walking along the main road.. We sort of causes the traffic to slow down at the cross junction.. haha..

Dear came to join us after his party & we start our gift exchange & taboo session.. We played until 2 plus and find that age is really catching up on us cause we were feeling quite tired by the time le..

Slp until early afternoon cause of the late night yest.. Its another day full of prog again today.. We will be heading to Halia, a restaurant at Botanica Garden to celeb our anniversary.. Its a day later from the actual day but its fine.. That is what happened when you get together on a special day, esp X'mas when its meant to be a gathering for family & frenz.. :)

I have been looking forward to today.. Cause i never ever rem going to fine dining ever since i grow up & its been a long time i last go to botanica garden.. Will the restaurant be as gd as wat the reviews have claimed?? hehe.. I am jus acting like a little girl right?

The food is quite nice not forgetting the ambience & the great compant I have.. ;p We ordered desserts after the meal and I had my 2nd surprise for the week when the dessert come.. On the dessert it had 'happy anniversary' written on it.. Such a pleasant surprise..

I finally know why dear was abit sianz when the manager said he did see our reservation in the list just now.. He had made this special request & arrangement when he called in to make the reservation previously.. Really sweet of him.. Deep inside I was feeling really happy cause this weekend, he did a no. Of things which I never tot & expect him to do.. hehe..

We went to Orchard to bask ourself in the X'mas mood & lighting.. As expected the place is really crowded.. We went to Cine to get ticket for a movie.. Went to Coffee Club to have a drk cause the show will only be starting in another 1.5 hrs time.. By the time we are done with everything, its already 2 in the morning..

Sun:

Woke up early in the morning cause dear is going to play his soccer at NUS.. But b4 sending him over, we went to the S'pore Flyers to get ticket for the 3-in-1 package for today.. It consists of the flyers ride, the boat ride and the hippo bus ride.. Yeah.. I had been to the Flyers with my family but going with bf is a totally different experience.. hehe..

I went home to rest, well not really resting also cause ard 1 plus i am out again.. Going to fetch dear at NUS.. We went to Alexandra market for lunch b4 heading to his place.. Rested for ard 2 hours and off we go for the special night out..

We reached there ard 5 plus.. Can see everyone is thinking about the same thing as us cause the place is REALLY crowded.. The next boat ride starts at 630 so we went to have our dinner at popeye cause its going to take another few hours b4 we are free again..

We were just in time to get onto the boat b4 it sail off.. If we missed this one, we will need to wait for the 730 one, the last boat ride that doesnt have a return ride back to S'pore Flyers from One Fullerton..

Its a nice & cooling evening to be taking a boat ride.. We were behaving like tourists when we reached One Fullerton.. Taking pictures with the Merlion, the Esplanade, the CBD backdrop.. haha..

We went back to the Flyers and the queue for the ride is atrocious.. We queued for almost 1 hour b4 its our turn to get into the capsules.. But everything is worthwhile cause the night scenery is really nice and breathtaking.. The half an hour ride seems so short versus the previous time i went.. :(

By the time we finished the ride, its already 850, another 10 more mins to our next bus ride.. We rushed down to the meeting area, did not had the chance to look ard the souvenir shop cause we were told to be there 10 mins b4 the ride.. When we reached, we were told the ride was postponed to 930.... Which means we have another half an hour now..

In order to get a gd seat, we queue quite early at the waiting area.. Cause i dun wan to wait so long & get a damn lousy seat, like those that is inside or on the 1st level of the bus one.. Well, the effort paid off.. We got one of the best seats and i truly enjoy the x'mas lighting.. It started off from S'pore Flyers to Orchard then Tanglin & back to where we started.. The feeling is totally different from when you are sitting inside a car n driving along orchard road..

The ride lasted ard half an hour.. We walked back to our car and realised that there is one place the the rooftop of the carpark where you can take really nice picture of the Flyers.. We went there and took some photos b4 dear send me home & mark the end of the 4 day celebration..

It had been a really memorable x'mas for me.. My x'mas was never this exciting & sweet b4 dear came into my life a year ago.. I really wanna thx him for the things he had done for me for the past yr and wan to apologise to him for those things i did & said to him over the past yrs also..

used to the long weekend which i have had in 2 consecutive week, therefore the weekend which had jus passed by seems really short.. :( why cant we have 4 day work week only!!!

I came home right after work, went to get my car so that i could drive down to town later in the night to fetch him & go out after work.. I went to Bukit Timah Market, the one i used to go to buy their famous Satay Bee Hoon..

Was really tired & took a nap b4 going to meet him ard 11.. driving along CTE at that period of time toward town is really cool.. the traffic was really smooth unlike the one at the opposite direction..

We went to Cineleisure to get ticket for 风云II.. I am not a fan of the show but he is... We bought ticket for the 150am show & decide to go check out the Thai club at Orchard plaza call Neverland.. Rem the famous Sparks that was damn hot during our Sec sch time? Well, Neverland is located there now.. We just went there to take a look & walk back to Paranakan Place TCC to have coffee.. We tot the 2 hours awaiting for the show to start will crawl by slowly but we were wrong.. b4 we knew it, it was time for the show le...

Btw, the lighting this x'mas was really nice.. for those who haven go there to take a look, i strongly recommend u guys to go there for a walk ard wee hours.. no need to squeeze with the crowd and can enjoy the peaceful night with your loved ones.. :)

By the time we finished the show its already 4am in the morning.. Damn shagged out, that explain why we only woke up at 6pm the next morning.. yeah, wasted my saturday, my precious saturday slping...

We went to have the Thai steamboat.. Sumptuous dinner.. hehe.. Dear sent me back home after we went to Bugis to get my favourite dessert.. I doze off while watching Guess x3 ard 12 plus.. I am really like a pig!!

Dear came to find me in the noon the next day & we went to AMK for lunch.. Went to the Jap restaurant there.. After that, we make our way to Orchard cause i wanna go to 313 Somerset to check it out.. Wow, the place was really crowded.. We had a hard time finding a parking lot.. Think most of the S'porean was at Orchard for the new shopping experience and also the x'mas lighting this weekend...

We went to Orchard Central & check out their rooftop garden.. the view is superb but for those that had some phobia towards height, pls be prepared cause it looked damn scary when you look down from their rooftop garden....

We went to Beach Road to have the Yu Tou Lu & the heavenly Cereal Crayfish...

Though this weekend seems really short, it was an enjoyable one.. :)

yeah.. super duper happy cause i have had 2 long weekend in a row.. haha.. but this means i had utilised all my leave for this yr already.. the next leave which i will be taking will be for my 4d3n bangkok trip in Feb.. :)

Did quite a no. of things during these 2 long weekends.. let's start from 25 nov when i first start my long weekend..

Met mery for dinner at Taka sushi tei.. had some catching up with her & went shopping ard b4 ending up at CK Tang.. We spent ard 2 hours there & bought quite a no. of stuffs.. I bought some gifts for my dad & dear.. Cause tat day itself was our 11th month anniversary.. After shopping, i went to fetch dear & went to S'pore Flyers but there wasnt much things to do by then so we went to Mt Faber.. The night scenery was really breathtaking.. Saw the Star Cruise departing from the port.. Really nice.. I have placed the gift to him b4 i met him in the car boot & asked him to go n open it when we were leaving the place.. It was a surprise.. :) After changing at his place, we went to Mr Bean for supper until 4 plus..

The next day we woke up really late as usual.. Went to Orchard.. Haven been going there during weekend.. Want to go n experience the feeling once again of shopping n walking along Orchard during weekday.. Its really quite different.. Different kinda crowd & its not so crowded also.. Went to paragon coffee bean for a relaxing cuppa latte b4 going to Coach to look at their bag.. We went to Taka then Ion Orchard.. We went back to get our car & went to Holland V.. Wanted to have the steamboat with free flow Xiao Long Bao at Fei Cui one but its fully booked already.. So we went to have Katong Laksa b4 going to Qin Cheng's place for MJ..

Fri itself i went out with my mum & aunt to Bugis den brought em to Bedok for the Fried Oyster & Ba Chor Mee b4 going to Dear's place...

I went to grandma's place to meet mummy on Sat afternoon cause its the death anniversary of my grandpa.. After that, dear came to fetch us back.. We went to have something at Maxwell market & bought my favouriate Hum Chee Peng back home.. We decide to go to JB to shop & get his spectacle done.. There was a small jam tat lasted less den an hour.. Went to City Square & walk ard b4 heading to Ta Ma Hua Yuan for Zi Char.. Wanted to go for a massage after dinner one but the place is fully booked.. Well, have to wait until next week for the massage session...

Sun.. Dear went for his soccer session & came to meet me in the noon.. We went down to the PC show at Expo.. It was really crowded.. But we want to go there to get the FM transmitter.. In the end, we both got sth for ourself other than the FM transmitter... I got myself a phone & he got himself a new PC.. Its about time for him to get one already.. After the hectic shopping session, we went to holland village for the steamboat with free flow xiao long bao.. haha.. die die mus eat that... hehe... We stayed there until 12 b4 going back home.....

Its the usual hectic week of work b4 another long weekend come.. We were supposed to go to malaysia for a short getaway but something crops up.. I brought mummy to the seletar sunset grill for dinner on fri... Wanted her to try their buffalo wings.. abit disappointed with the spiciness of the chicken wings which we ordered.. When we were getting the bill, i mentioned it to the in-charge & he said i could have told him earlier & he can try to do sth about it.. well, next time perhaps ba..

Dear came to find me in the noon & we went to JB to collect his spectacle.. I got myself the coloured lens.. This time round, we went to the massage first b4 going for our dinner... haha.. The massage was really relaxing, esp the foot massage.. love it totally.. hehe...

Fake Mask??

Did my first online shopping for mask about a mth back.. Its the damn hot 我的美丽日记 mask from taiwan.. I got some when i went for my grad trip last yr and think the mask is really cheap and good..

Still had some left over from the trip and its depleting soon, that is why i am willing to try shopping for it online since i wont be able to travel there anytime soon... I came across this blogshop which i found on a online skincare forum and was just in time to take part in the so-called spree..

I placed my orders and transferred my money to the owner.. 1st issue is I did not get any reply from her for ages after the transferred was made with regards to the acknowledgement of the receipt.. 2nd thing that occur is, i found out that there are quite a no. of fake masks out there and there are claims saying that the blogshop which i get my masks from is selling the fake ones.. The owner came out to make clarification and even posted the picture of the mask that she carrying to assure her 'clients'.. So i thought it should be alright and did not go and think too much about it..

Finally she replied my email about a week later after i emailed her asking about the payment.. By then it was about 3 wks from when i made my transfer already.. She told me she did not receive any money from me which is quite impossible cause i had the transaction history in my bank account stating the transfer is through.. So I had to crop out that particular transaction and email to her as a proof of payment..

Then came the issue of her saying that she just found out from the supplier that the masks she brought in came from HK instead of Taiwan but they still came from the same distributor.. By then I am abit sianz already.. I did not cancel my order with her totally even though she say she can give me a refund.. Cause i was thinking she already bought the masks already, if i cancelled my orders jus like that she would be holding quite a no. of the masks.. On top of that, I was also hoping that there wont be a stark difference in the mask......

Today i got the masks and make a comparison with the one that i bought from taiwan... Well, upon comparison u can see a stark difference.. It totally match the description of the fake ones that was posted online.. Uneven edges, non-reflective wording on the side etc.... U can see the difference easily when placed beside the one which i bought earlier...

So i told her to refund me the remaining money to my account.. She quoted me a sum that is different from the earlier one.. Difference is not huge and its also not a matter of principle why i mind about the few cents.. Its more of, the unhappiness which i got from the mask which i highly think is fake ( based on the comparison made and the descriptions of the fake mask since i had never seen the mask from HK b4) and the irresponsible behaviour of hers after i make the payment..

Well, think i better be a cave-woman and guai guai stick to the traditional shopping ba..

yup.. the iron man of mine fall sick over the weekend.. normally i am the sickly person cause my immune system has been really weak after i started this job.. now, its my turn to take care of him..

Due to the bad weather, the killer pototo chips & choco together with him drking very little water all the time, the end result is---> sore throat & fever..

But b4 he got sick over the weekend, we manage to do sth together on Fri.. We did not meet last weekend due to my genting trip with my colleagues & his chalet with his Uni mates.. So am really looking forward to seeing him on Fri..

I went out with my colleague for a while b4 meeting him at his workplace after work.. We went to Cine & manage to get the ticket for 2012.. Went to have supper at the HK cafe & tot i would fell aslp due to the sumptuous supper & waking up early for work.. But i am too engrossed with the show.. The 2.5 hrs inside the theatre seems shorter than i tot it would be..

We went straight home after the show & slp until 2 plus the next day.. Too worn out from the late night we had previously.. Dear also started to feel feverish during tat time.. We went to eat porridge at Tiong Bahru b4 going to my place.. He concussed all the way once he reached my place.. He slp all the way until 930, woke up for some soup & i send him back home..

Sun:

Woke up ard 9, set my alarm wrongly.. should wake up at 8 one cause going to eat Dim Sum with my mum & sis at Hong Xing.. Its very near to where we used to stay.. Any time later den 9, you will see a long queue already..

As expected, when we reach ard 1030, the queue is there.. luckily we only waited for 10mins.. for those with bigger family n need a bigger table, the waiting time is longer..

It was a sumptous brunch & reminded me of my childhood where i used to go there quite often.. I send Mum & Sis to Suntec b4 heading down to find dear at his place.. He was still slping when i reached, guess its the effect of the medicine..

We went out later in the noon to find Ah Ma @ Dampsey.. She was having this flea market with Sarah.. Going there to show em some support & as an excuse to go shopping too.. :) We manage to find e place really fast & I got 2 dresses & a skirt from their stall...

We head to Bens' & Jerry at Dampsey after that..

Decide to go shopping at Orchard.. Haven been going there ever since we gotten our car in Sept.. In addition, i also want to check out my Coach bag.. Damn tempted to get one for myself... Went to the paragon one which Ida told me about.. Its really quite big & they had quite a no. of the latest design there...

We din shop for long cause dear started to feel a little feverish.. Think the medicine effect has worn off.. We went back to his place & he rested until 9 b4 we went for dinner @ holland v.... I was really quite worried about him.. I can understand how he feels when he saw me falling sick now.. :(

We had La Mian for dinner & he sent me home after that..

I am going to bangkok SOON.. haha.. well, its next year feb la... Jus book the air ticket for the trip about an hour back...

Been wanting to go on a trip really badly.. Best is can go this year end but because of my indecisiveness & such, i keep missing the good promo deal cause by the time i decide i want to go, the promo is either over or the timing is fully sold out..

Like the Bali one.. I had been dying to go that place but i miss the 200 plus deal.. argh... Then comes the time when i think that booking for promo fare that travel in Jan very off cause I am dying to go in Dec.. haiz.. Now, i jus dun care so much le.. Dun wan to miss the deal again.. Like this afternoon when i was checking the fare & slot, the Fri leave & Mon come back slot is still there but because i tot i might need to get my passport no. to book, I leave the booking until I came back home.. Who knows by then, the slot from Fri to Mon is already gone & now, I had to book the Sat to Tue slot..

Why i wanna travel in Dec so badly is because i really need to get some fresh air overseas badly & also, its a special month for me.....

I really duno after so long of not updating the blog, will there be ppl still coming to read it... Cause to some extent, I am still quite aware of wat i am writing here currently.. I really duno how has access to this blog & who hasnt.. Like for Benny, i am totally unsure he knows about this blog, even if he does, will he bother to come n look at it...

I hadnt been uploading alot of my entry which i written in a fit of the moment when things happened which i dun dare to upload it.. Cause i am scare of the consequences which might be hiding behind the things i said.. I scare that it might impact others thus i rather keep those entry unpublished.....

Recently I had been having alot of expectations of him & I dun think its a good thing at all.. Cause normally this kinda expectations thing will mostly lead up to consequences that are skewed more to a negative nature.....

Example, I had some expectations of him & will naturally hope he will do it.. But when he din, i will feel disappointed & this is the feeling which i HATE the MOST.. In order not to feel that, I will den try to tell him what i want, which in turn he will do it for me.. But at that point of time, I will feel that he did it because i ask him to not because he wanted or had the intention to do so.... That makes me sianz.. But in the first place, he might had the intention to do so, jus that b4 he did had the chance to, i already told him n make it known liao.... Contradicting, isnt it? Complicated too? Well, i think so too..... Haiz, is that consider as 钻牛角尖?

Erm, feel much better after blogging this out.. hehe...

JC frenz gathering at Marina Square on Fri night for Mr Jack's birthday.. Apart from that, we are also gathering for our SAW movie PACT which i dont know when did we ever made to one another.. But over the years, it seems to be a routine for us to gather & watch the movie.. Just the same as every year on X'mas day, we mus go to Shu's house for our X'mas dinner & potluck with the RUBBER BAND BEEHOON contributed by ah li... hehe...

Met at Kenny Rogers after a tiring day @ work.. Knew they would be late as usual so i shop abit along the way b4 going to meet em... Its been quite some time since i shop in town lo.. Ever since we got our car car, we had never spent our weekend in town.. We will always go somewhere inaccessible by public transport but made more accessible by car over the weekend now.. haha..

Wanted to get a dress one but realised i got MANY MANY dresses in my wardrobe now... Give up that idea & went to meet em instead.. Li & Andy were late.. We started without em cause we were really hungry by den.. Dinner was really great.. I jus love gathering of all sorts, with frenz whom i seldom get to meet.. It gives me a really warming feelings to talk to em & know wat is happening to their life recently...

I dun know why but recently the bday which i attend, the cake will always end up distorted and eaten this way.. Or in an unconvention way which i had never eaten it b4.. haha...

We went for the movie after dinner.. As usual, we draw lot to see who will be sitting beside who.. We always do alot of funny things together & this made me reminded of how much atrocious & weird things we had done during our JC times.. haha..

I think age is really catching up on me.. Cause during the first scene of the show, I was already freaked out already.. I couldnt seem to bring myself & watch the whole movie cause as & when i will jus cover my eyes with my hands when things got really gore..... In the past we used to think some scenes are really funny & fake.. But right now, i will get freak out even by the tinny-winny bit which doesnt seem the least frightening at all.. haha...

After the show, i felt really worn out.. Think the others felt almost the same as me... haha.. this is called 花钱买罪受.. We went to Paulaner for a short drk & did some catching up.. Only to realise that some of our classmates is already the wife or husband of another person le... Amazing.. I never imagine us to come at this stage.... haha... Felt abit scary... I still rem our innocent JC days, everything seems like it had jus happened yest.. Next time will we be talking about our house, our kids n such... haha...

Sat:

Dear came to find me in the late afternoon.. We will be going to Night Safari.. hehe.. Has been talking about that since a few wks le.. So excited about the the outing.. The last time i went there was about 11 yrs back with my Sec sch during my orientation outing..

We went to Chong Pang to have the Thai Zi Char for dinner with my mum.. Sent her back after that b4 we drove down to Mandai... The night was really cooling after the heavy rain in the afternoon... Its a perfect night to be out in the open with the animals.. hehe...

The place was bustling with ppl, its not wat i expected it to be at all.. Esp after the rain in the noon, I tot it would have deterred alot of ppl from coming out.. haha.. Dont know there are so many ppl who is like us, dun mind the weather, jus die die want to go.. haha..

We finally found the place to get the ticket & bought their leopard soft toy.. Both of us were really excited & we look more like tourist than local... Bought souvenir even b4 we enter the entrance.. haha..

We were jus nice for the Creatures of the Night Show which will only be available on certain days.. Went straight to queue & lucky we were early cause i think the show is really hot esp during the timing we went...

The show is really nice with alot of animals that i like.. Like the otters, that dear say looks jus like me.. Tiny but VERY noisy... haha.. Then also got my fury raccoon.. The majestic wolf that dear like.. The tiny & cute little golden cat.... There are alot more... But because of the constraint of using flashes during the show for the good of our lovely animals, the pictures which i had taken during the show was alittle blur... But i think sometimes lovely memories will be kept inside one's mind forever, this happened to be one of em... :)

Really wan to remind those that will be going for the show, plz dun use flashes or torchlight when you go to Night Safari cause according to the ranger.. In the long run, the animal's eyes will become blind with all these.. Please love these animals........

After the interesting show, we went to took our Tram ride.. so excited.. hehe.. The night is really perfect, with the wind blowing on ur face when the tram is moving, the animals so close to you & someone you care sitting next to you enjoying tat very moment... :)

We had our mid-stop rest & walk along the leopard trail... Quite interesting but its really dark.. Am glad that i din go for the Halloween theme one cause I think I will be really freaked out.. We went into the flying squirrel enclosure.. Saw these really cute & HUGE squirrels that can glide at least 400m? But they din really show us their powerful gliding skills, instead they jus sit there on the branches, enjoying their food.. But we came really close to one of em who is crossing the pavement right in front of us... How i wish i can bring em back!!!

Later on, we went into the Mangrove Bats enclosure.... I was quite skeptical about going in but since we were already there, might as well go in & take a look.. My heart got abit consoled & felt abit at ease when i saw those small bats flying ard eating fruits.. But as i walk along the trail, i found myself staring at 2 really HUGE one, hanging on the branches... At that moment, i was completely freaked out.. I can feel the goosebumps starting to form & the hairs on my hands standing... I walked as fast as i can & as quiet on the same time cause I am scare of distracting them resting & they might jolly well come & chase after me!!!

Its only when i walked out of the enclosure & heave a sigh of relief knowing they din follow me out... haha... Come to think of it, it was really funny... haha...

Sun:

I went to my long awaited facial which i had been skipping for 3 years finally... After fetching dear to his soccer venue, I drove to Jurong with Mummy for breakfast, sent her to JP b4 going for my facial nearby also...

The session took about 2 hours.. Haiz, tot i wont be psycho into getting package one but in e end, i did.. Well think i should pamper myself & my face more esp working in my industry, it seems more easier for us to get break out due to the stress level we face, the late night we had & also our eating habits.. Haha.. On top of that, i think i havent been rewarding myself ever since i got my payout... Well, treat that as a reward ba.. Investmest on myself.. haha

I went to Ikea to meet dear.. He was going with his frenz to buy shoe @ Queensway, so i waited for him at Anchorpoint TCC, reading magazine & drking my fav latte.. Erm, nearly quarrelled because of some issues.. Well, i wont say quarrel ba, maybe its jus differing views.. ;p Am glad that it din turn out bad in the end...

Went to his place & out for dinner at the Prata place near Upper Thomson.. hehe.. Missing their banana prata..

Its a really busy weekend full of programmes....

Fri night :

Team outing at East Coast. Its our first teambuilding soccer session. I had forgotten how long I havent been exercising.. Definitely more than a year.. For the soccer game, only the gals can score.. Winning team will be getting one day extra leave.. Well, for the leave sake, everyone is all out to win the game... Haha..

Warming for the game..

Our team lost the match but everyone got one day off.. Yeah... Din make my toe bruised for nth.. Yeah, i got injured during the game.. Duno kena zam by who.. But i think high chance my toe nail will come off...

It started raining heavily.. Luckily we are able to BBQ at the prawning place nearby.. The boss is really nice to have rent us their BBQ place.. Luckily the rain subsided quite soon and makes the weather really cooling for BBQ..

The whole session ended around 11plus.. Like any other BBQ, there are alot of food left.. Dear came to fetch me @ East Coast after the session & we went to meet his frenz b4 going back to his place...

Sat:

Woke up early the next morning cause gotta go attend a seminar @ DBS auditorium but found half of my face swollen.. Wow, it was really quite bad.. My eyes were really puffy, even with make up the difference b/w the 2 eyes are huge man..

I reached the place at 830 & keep using my hair to cover the swollen side of my face but it was really bad & together with my swollen toe from yesterday night game.. I felt really horrible.. My team leader saw my condition & asked me to go back home & rest..

I went back to benny's place, took some pills & went back to slp, hoping the swellness will subside when i woke up.. Ard 1 plus, Mau called me & said they will be going to Vivo to buy the food for the picnic.. I woke up & joined him & Ida.. By the time, my face got better slightly but i still have to cover my face.. Think yesterday night Crayfish might be the cause for this...

We did some shopping at Giant & Daiso.. Bought quite alot of food.. Seems more like a buffet than a picnic to me.. We reached Marina Barrage ard 330.. Judy, Seb & Helene were there already.. After gathering, we went up to the terrace.. The weather was really hot man... Found a place that is under the shelter near the lift & we decide to settle down there...

Tan, Art & Benny reached a while later.. Finally the weather got abit more cooler & the wind started blowing.. Perfect weather to fly kite.. Someone beside us pass us their kites b4 they left the place.. It was really nice of em lo.. Cause like that we no need to vie over the kite benny went all the way to East Coast to buy for me.. hehe..

Our kite flying session is a total failure.. Go look at Art's facebook and you will know why.. Think we are being played by the kite rather we go play kite lo..... haha.... But its really a nice experience la.. I think i havent go kite flying for more den 15 years...

After a while, it started raining.. We quickly cleared our stuffs and went to take shelter at the 2nd level.. Find one corner and decided to sit there and play cards.. haha.. Play until 7 b4 the few of us decide to go Tan's place there for massage.. Its a long week for us & most of our backs and shoulders are aching like mad.... It was a really nice session.. Think i will be going for more...

After that, it was already 10 plus.. Me & benny drove over to Geylang for Frog porridge.. Had been craving for it for quite some time but i was damn disappointed la... haiz.. The taste wasnt the same anymore.. haiz..

Sun :

Slp until 11 plus in the morning.. Need to wait for dear to finish his game b4 coming to fetch me n go gai gai....

He came in the noon & we drove to Sin Ming there for Bak Kut Teh b4 going to Adams Road there for desserts...

After dessert we decided to go over to AMK for movie.. We choose the lighthearted show, Poker King for the day.. Went to shop ard b4 catching the movie @ 625.. The show was a perfect choice for a relaxed weekend, its the kinda movie where u can laugh ur head off & let your mind rest...

After the show, we went to the Jap restaurant nearby for dinner.. We din order much since we are not really hungry...

there are alot of things in life which will not go the way we wanted it to be... this is especially so after you started working.. More restriction than you are when you were a student.. The restriction doesnt comes from work itself, in fact, it comes from individual...

After stepping into the adult working world, our lifestyle and spending power changes dramatically.. As a student, you might not even spend up to $10 in a day but for a working adult, wat is $10 a day man.. A meal together with transportation will wipe it out completely, sometimes, a meal alone will just do the job..

The new spending power gain & the enjoyment you derive from the new lifestyle makes one wanted more.. More of the spending power, more of the enjoyment.. If not getting more, one will just want to maintain that kinda lifestyle.. In order to do so, you will have to maintain that kinda salary also.. Or work even harder for a better paid job....

If you are in a job that you love what you are doing & can satify your kinda lifestyle.. I must congratualate you.. Cause you are the lucky few in a millions ( ok, maybe i am exaggerating it.. ) & I must say i really envy you....

Alot of ppl, they are stuck in jobs, doing things that they disliked because they want to maintain their current lifestyles.. Houses, cars, family, children and many more..... They are afraid that if they go n pursue what they like by changing jobs. they might not be able to get the pay that they are drawing currently.. In the first place, are they able to get the job that they want poses another qns? Will they be wasting their time by doing a change cause they might not be doing as well as what they are doing at the moment... All the uncertainties act as additional deterence for more ppl to take the first step.....

Well, maybe I am generalising things here... I dun deny that there will be ppl ard who will want to and has the guts to go and pursue the things that they want.. Frankly speaking, i really admire em... I use to do things w/o caring about alot of other factors and consequences in the past BUT right now, i am not like tat anymore... I duno isit because of what happened changed me or isit because of the society that causes the change.... I miss the Wei Ting that used to do things jus because she thinks its correct & dun care about how the others will feel about her... She seems so real at that pt of time..

sth happened last wk, so there wasnt any updates...

As for this weekend, let's start from Fri :

After having dinnrer at Newton until 10 plus, i went to collect the car at dear;s place... Went to find billy to have a chat first b4 going to fetch dear ard 2.. We decided to go for supper & went to fetch billy.. We drove to Upper Thomson for prata and i mus say their banana prata is really nice.. We eat until 1 plus b4 going back home..

We slp until 1 plus the next morning b4 going out.. Want to go pump petrol at SHell one but seeing the queue deter us.. Along the way to bugis, u can see how the promo has affected the traffic.. Wherever there is a petrol kiosk, you will be able to see a long queue there..

Had laksa near the famous flea market b4 going down to Bugis.. Want to go there to bai bai cause recently i was being bothered by alot of stuffs and all these things are weighing me down and making me hard to breathe.. On top of that, i really need some guidance on things which i myself find it hard to decide on... But the bai bai session, din really help me to find the serenity which i hope myself will get when i go bai bai... Haiz..

Went to illuma to catch a movie, while waiting for the show to start i chanced upon sth which brighten up my day a little...

After the movie, we went to boat quay to have dinner.. haha.. Yeah, going back to somewhere near our workplace on a weekend, how interesting right? But i am having this crazy craving for the thai steamboat along boat quay for a week le.. haha.. Dear was really nice to go with me & fulfil my craving.. :)

This steamboat is really delicious and special.. ( This is the first time i chanced upon a steamboat that is being served in such a special manner.. ) The top where u see alot of holes are used to bbq food like their pork, prawn, mussels and sotong.. As for the soupy rim, that is for the tong fen and veggies.. hehe

Dear was quite fasinated by the steamboat too...

After dinner, we go to YOU CHE HE.. haha.. drive ard the CBD and to S'pore flyers and HOME SWEET HOME!!

As for today, dear came to fetch me in the afternoon after his game.. We went to Casurina for prata b4 going to Tampines... Its a lazy afternoon for us.. Jus walking n doing window shopping..

Am really grateful towards dear for acc me today cause he was quite tired after the game but he came to acc me... And tonight he got a match to catch with his frenz so he will need to slp n rest more den usual.. But he still make it a pt to come n find me, acc me until late afternoon b4 going back home... He knows that if i were to stay at home the whole afternoon, i would have started to form those negative thoughts and hu si luan xiang again...

Mus really thx him for being there with me n accomodate me during this period of time when i am feeling so edgy and on the same time needed someone to be with me... Its really hard on him during this pt of time...

looking in the mirror, i couldnt recognise the person who is staring back at me now.. i totally dun understand myself at this pt of time.. I have no sense of direction, i duno wat i really want in my life, i had no idea wat to do with my life also.. i am really lost this time round.. lost with all the things happening ard me.. working life has made me lose myself, its the first time in my life i am so uncertain about everything & dun have any confidence in myself.. feeling so negatively... wat is happening to me..

in the past, i can jus dun care about alot of things and jus be myself.. how come it has become such a strange thing to me now.. those thiings which i had been doing in the past seems really alien to me now.. and the things that i am doing now, its so not me... i am feeling really unhappy, unsure and vexed...... wat can i do man??

the title above means 2 things.. the 1st one is, its has been a year since i started working & its been a yr since i started feeling for someone.. but at this pt of time, the 1st one that i mentioned meant more to me..

last oct, i started my working life in my current company.. i behaved jus like a fresh grad, green, ignorant, naive.. I am the only gal left in the team and also the youngest too.. Not forgetting, i behaved like a little gal too.. hard to imagine, but i am one at that pt of time.. With all the big brothers there taking care of me & guiding me...

To those who knows me well.. I am a very straightforward person & i dun like to hide my feelings.. I always placed my trust easily on ppl.. This had gotten me into really awkward position.. I really hope that i can change that.. but can i? At this pt of time, after a yr of working in this kinda financial environment, i have grown to be more cautious but i am still quite easy in believing wat others said & bare my heart to em.. Why cant i jus learn my lesson & move on?

Having alot of gan chu recently.. I cant seem to write freely like how i used to in the past cause of alot of restriction.. Think i might open another account to voice out freely wat i felt w/o pictures and such... This might be a better idea.. I haven been able to talk freely recently & has been keeping alot of stuffs inside me.. This is really weighing on me & making me hard to breathe...

There is a saying, ppl come n goes in ur life.. This is especially true in my kinda working environment.. Everything is about business & nth personal.. From a 21 man team when i first started out a yr back, it has been reduced to a 6 man team now.. Its quite scary, isnt it? I never tot that i might be the 6 that are left when i first started out.. I am not the best among the team & i am totally new to the things that i am doing now.. I tot i might be the first few to get axed.. Who would have tot of me staying until now?

A yr has passed really fast.. I can still rem taking buses with my teammates to Suntec for our lesson then we will rush back to the office to finish our powerpoint slide.. haha.. We will have at least 2 presentation a day and that really tires everyone out man.. On Fri, it will be our time off, we will make it a pt to go out to drk & relax every Fri night.. Its at tat time when they got to know about my drking secret.. hehe..

We finally pass out from our training aka BMT together with quite a few of our teammates falling out even b4 that.. After that is our roadshow days which i miss it totally.. Everything seems like it has jus happened yest.. I would go in the morning to open the booth den go and buy breakfast at Mac with some of my teammates.. Den we will go out for lunch all ard the restaurant.. After roadshow, we will go for dinner all over S'pore cause some of em drive.. During someone's birthday we will go for steamboat which most of the time were organised by me.. ( I love steamboat!!) haha..

When we were there doing the roadshow for such a long period of time, we keep complaining tat its too long & wonder how long it need b4 we can go back to the office.. Well, now i am beginning to think or should i said I had been thinking that the roadshow time had been the best period of my working life for quite some time le.. Its during the roadshow we started getting to know one another, got closer with one another & build up a strong bond... I really miss those times when we can trust one another & let our guards down.. When has everything in the office changed to the period when i first started working in there a yr back....

There has been too much negative feelings & i am really feeling really upset about it.....

Car Diary 2

its another nice weekend with my beloved baby car.. hehe... the experience of having a car is totally amazing.. despite me only able to use the car on weekend, its a really gd experience too..

Sat i went home after my roadshow & waited for benny to come n fetch me at my place after his soccer game.. We stayed at my place until night time b4 going out for dinner at Chong Pang.. Went to the Thai Zhi-Char there & had a sumptuous dinner b4 going down to Great World to catch a movie... Manage to get ticket for the Surrogates the moment we reached there.. It was an interesting show, quite like the idea of the show..

Right after that, i send him home b4 driving back home..

Woke up ard 1130 the next morning, had some snacks b4 going to bed again at 130.. That is wat i normally do during weekend, keep slping n slping.. After preparing & everything, I went out for lunch with Mummy & sent her to town.. While i was on the way, Benny called & said that his game has ended, so i went to Evans Road & fetch him to his place b4 going to Amoy Food Centre for lunch...

After sending mummy to Chinatown, I went to Benny's place & rested there.. The weather isnt suitable to go out.. Ard 7, we decide to go to Geylang for dinner.. Went to Lor 29 ( i think) for their charcoal-cooked Hokkien Mee & Satay for dinner.. Den we went to Yong He for dessert.. Actually my objective is to go Geylang to eat their Mee Sua one but after i finish the food, i was too full for that already...

We went to Kallang Indoor Stadium & sit by the river side.. Looking at those luxurious condo, wonder when can i get one myself.. haiz.. Walk along the bridge towards the condo, its the first time i went there.. haha..

After that, we decide to go to Marina South to explore.. Its been a long time since i go there.. Wondering whether the steamboat place is still there.. The moment i reached there, i realised everything changed.. I cant seem to recognise the place & the road anytime, I could not fine the steamboat place, together with the famours bowling alley & the Canto which was really famous in the past.. Was it being teared down or was it because the road has changed & i could not find it.. What i can find now is the sign showing the way to Marina Barrage, the latest attraction at Marina South..

Decide to go there & explore.. Was fascinated by the appearance of the building.. We look through some pictures of it b4 we went there but it was totally different from what we see in the pictures.. It was more beautiful with the lighting.. Mayb because its at night & coupled with the night scenes from the CBD, it looks really beautiful.. I think next time when Marina Vegas is up, the view will be even more breathtaking.. :)

Looking forward to next weekend, wonder where can we explore again with our baby.. hehe..

Genting getaway with Mum & Dear

Jus reach home half an hour back from my 3D2N genting getaway with my mum & dear.. Not only is this the 1st time we went on a vacation together, the most impt thing is, this is also the 1st time we went on a roadtrip on our little baby picanto..

I was quite worried b4 we went there.. regarding whether are we able to go up to genting with our baby.. but the worrying seems to be unnecessary.. hehe.. our baby really perform well & i am looking forward to more road trip with it..

We woke up ard 5am in the morning on Sat & manage to cross the custom b4 7am in the morning.. We started our journey ard 630 & we stop for awhile to have a break & drk ard 8.. It was my turn to drive for the rest of the journey until KL cause dear did not have much rest the previous night.. We reached KL ard 10 am & went to find my aunt to pass her sth b4 heading to have our breakfast.. Wanna eat the steam fish but we are far too early, thus we went to have Dim Sum instead.. Its not as fantastic as the one daddy always bring us to....

Aft the meal, we started our way up to genting.. There was a jam near the city area thus we only manage to reach genting ard 1 plus.. Daddy called up & asked us to get ready some water b4 we went up cause he scare our engine might overheat on the way up.. That was really sweet of him..

After checking-in, me & dear stayed in the room to slp until 4 plus b4 going to the casino to find mum for our dinner? We went to the Old Town Cafe there for our meal.. After tat we went to the casino at Genting hotel.. There wasnt alot of crowd, probably its because its mid-autumn festival..

I brought mummy to the International Room, its the 1st time we went in there.. Quite diff from the usual one we went to.. But i prefer this.. We stayed in the casino until 11 plus b4 heading back to First World.. Had supper b4 going back to the hotel with dear to rest....

Slp until 10 plus the next morning b4 going to find mum at the casino.. Dear is still slping when i left.. Went to have a relax breakfast with mummy b4 meeting dear in the hotel room cause later, we are going to check into Resort.. haha.. its abit bo liao to change here & there la but den, Resort was fully booked on Sat le so had to go to First World.. Personally i prefer Resort of its locations & the furnishing inside the room.. Its more cosy & comfy.. hehe

We check into the hotel ard 130 & rested for a while b4 going down to the Casino again.. Mummy was in the International Room already & dear could not go in cause he doesnt have a Genting card.. As for me, it took me alot of hassle without Mummy to bring me in.. I have to show them a platinum credit card b4 they allow me to gain access to the Room..

We stayed there until 5 plus.. In e end, due to the long standing & tiredness from it, we decide to go back to the room & rest until dinner time.. Well, this was supposed to be a relaxing trip anyway.. haha.. So resting is very impt.. haha...

During dinner time, we went down to find Mummy b4 going to Sushi King to have dinner.. The weather is really cooling.. I love the mist n the cool wind blowing on my face.. Its casino once again.. haha.. This time round, we stayed until 1030 b4 going out n walk ard the place with dear.. We went to the hotel to rest until 1am.. Should have come down earlier one.. haiz.. cause by the time we came down, the coffee bean below our hotel closed already.. Can only order takeaway but we want to sit down there to chit chat & enjoy the coolness of the night..

In e end, we walk to First World Starbucks.. The place there closed rather late at night.. Because its a Sun night, the place looks rather quiet with very little ppl.. We ordered our hot drk & choose a seat outside the coffee place.. Had a conversation which we shouldnt even started off in the first place.. In e end, both of us got rather unhappy about it.. Realised this has been the case for our past trip at phuket also, sth happened on the last night there which turned out to be rather unhappy for us also.. This time round, this is the case too.. I hope that next time when we go on a trip, this kinda thing wont happen again....

Well, luckily everything went back to norm again b4 we slp.. :)

We own our first car!!!

After some searching n being irrational, we own the first item TOGETHER --> a car!! This is the first item that we shared and buy together, hope there will be more to come.. hehe...

Went to collect our car on Sat.. Alot of unhappy things happened between the car dealer and us between the 6 days that we place our deposit and went for collection.. Dun wanna elaborate much on that but i have to tell those who wish to get a car.. Go n do some serious research b4 buying one, mus check out whether there are any admin fees and also best is go with someone who knows the market or car well..

We were not really very excited about the collection but once we start driving the car.. Well, the feel is totally different.. I drove around the area to familiarise with the car first b4 we leave the place.. Ever since i got my license, i have never dorve a manual car b4, i totally lost the feel of driving a manual car.. Thk i will need more practise..

We drove to a nearby petrol kiosk to top up our petrol.. A full tank cost about 34 bucks.. Totally different from my dad's car which cost about 160 for a full tank... We went to Bugis to bai bai first.. hehe.. Finding a parking lot there is damn difficult.. We waited for abour half an hour b4 we could get one.. By the time we went to bai bai its about 430 already... We shop ard the area b4 going to dear's place n rest until 9..

We check online for the famous turtle soup ard Macpherson area.. I am not really familiar of the road at the east.. So have to check the directory.. I think me & dear is really very li hai cause jus by looking at the online directory, we are able to manuveour to the exact place.. haha.. The turtle soup is really very nice..

After that, we drove to Toa Payoh to buy chicken wings b4 going to Yishun and buy Soya milk.. Haha.. Went to alot of place today, that's the good thing about having a car cause we are able to drive ard looking for cheap and delicious food that is not so accessible without a car.. :)

As for today, dearr, drove to NUS to play soccer with his frenz while i stay at home to slp until 1230.. haha. Din join mummy they all to go JB cause duno wat time they gonna come back and normally when we go JB, i will feel very tired when i come back..

Dear came to my place n fetch me after he is done with his game.. We decide to go to Tampines Ikea for our lunch and walk ard, he has not been there b4.. Had a really sumptuous lunch.. After that, we walk ard the place and i got a cushion for our car.. It still seems quite empty.. Need to decorate abit..

We decide to go to East Coast and nua there.. The sea breeze is really soothing.. Walking along the designated walkway with the wind blowing on my face, i have never felt so relaxed for a very long time.. Think East Coast will become one of my fav hangout place.. We went to the coffeebean and ordered a drk.. Dear was reading his books and i was reading the newspaper and seeing the crowd.. Wow, its a perfect sunday man... hehe...

We went to sit along the beach.. How i wish i have a picnic mat in the car, it will be damn cool to be able to laze on the picnic mat and enjoy the breeze with a book.. haha.. We left ard 7 and decide to go to Geylang for Dim Sum.. Decide to give it a miss once we reach there cause its really hard to get a parking lot there.. We went to Chong Pang for Nasi Lemak instead.. haha..

Can see dear was really quite tired after playing soccer and a long day out.. So i wan him to go back early to rest.. After eating, he sent me back home b4 going back with the car.. The car will be with him first until we are able to get a parking lot at his workplace.. :)

The lifestyle after getting a car is really diff.. Can go alot of place and do alot of things which its hard for us to do in the past.. Within 2 days, we went to alot of places.. In fact, we are thinking to go overseas for roadtrip already..

Really hope the car will not give us alot of problem.. Well, i know that getting a 2nd hand car will have its risk and also the car dealer description of the car will not always be the truth.. But i really hope at least, if some problems do occur, it wont be major one.. :)

1st b'day celebration for Benny..

Last Sat was Benny's b'day.. planned a surprise for him & i had a hard time keeping him in the dark.. realise i really cannot be a liar or keep ppl in the dark cause that is jus not me.. I had a hard time keeping the matter from him esp when i practically share everything with him this days.. Den i do not like to lie to the person closest to me cause i will feel damn guilty about and stuuter when i do do.. Luckily everything got paid off cause i think he really like what i had planned for him, that is all that matter.. :)

I went to his place to meet him & put some of my stuffs.. In e end we went out only after 615pm.. Jus nice for dinner.. Went to Suntec, wanted to have Tony Romas one but because of the Natas Travel Fair and some other fairs ard, the place was crowded with ppl.. When we reach there, the queue is like so so long already.. In the end, we went to have Jap food instead..

After dinner we went to the Cinema, wanted to catch a movie b4 going down to St James.. It was den, dear got suspicious.. I was strongly against the idea of catching a movie cause the timing of the show means we will only end after 11 but i planned to meet his frenz @ St James to give him a surprise celebration or more accurately drinking session at 1030 so ending late means his frenz have to wait for us.. I will feel very pai seh about it.. So i was quite against the idea and that gave me away cause I seldom will be so adamant about sth.. Adamant about not watching movie, adamant about going to St James when i know that he wasnt really keen at all.. :)

He became really suspicious and keep prompting n asking me am i planning a surprise for him or not.. Had to lie thru my teeth and come up with more lies.. We catch the 'UP' in the end in 3D version.. 1st time catching movie in 3D version, its damn cool.. Well, i strongly recommend for this show cause it was really really touching.. i cried twice in the theatre..

By the time the show end, its already 11.. I wanted to take a cab down and this arouse his suspicious even more.. In e end, had to go along with him to take bus there.. On e way there he look quite sianz cause he really not in the mood to club but i insist to.. Finally we reach St James at 1145.. His frenz were already there drinking.. Had to bring him to them w/o arousing more suspicious.. But he was quite skeptical on the way to meet them.. Walking damn slowly n dragging his feet lo...

The moment he saw them, he give me the shock n surprised look.. :) Think he really din think that the ppl there will be his frenz.. He had been guessing that its my frenz instead.. :) We had some drink b4 heading to the Thai pub at Golden Mile.. It was really a nice n enjoyable night & i really hope that he likes the surprise arrangement i had for him.. :)

Mus thx his frenz for coming down n participate in this cause w/o them all this would not be able to happen.. :)

It's Liyuan's aka ah tan's birthday today... he will be going on leave for the next 2 days to nua @ home... really good life lo.. Well, my chance will come in aug.. Going to phuket in another mths' time.. Totally looking forward to it....

We decide to have dinner together during lunch to celebrate his b'day... As usual, setting the venue for the dinner is always a very impromptu and troublesome thing.. Well, dun understand why guys can be so indecisive.. I am saying this because ard 80% of em are guys la... I mus repeat my qns more den 3 times b4 i will get an answer.. If not they will jus ignore my qns & jus disgress to other topics... haha

Finally we decide to go to OverEasy suggested by Seb.. Why? Because today the market is down and they have this $1 mini burger promo when the market is down.. Interesting? Yes it is.. We were quite skeptical or should i say i was quite skeptical about it.. Isit really true? How big is the burger? The size of the mini burger gummy? hehe.. We decide to take the chance & go there to take a look....

The outside seat were fully reserved.. Amazing, esp when its a weekday evening.. Erm, we ordered the mini burger & also the 1-for-1 beer... We were really fascinated by the burger, it looks super appetizing & taste heavenly.. For those who din eat it b4, its highly recommended.. Lookout for market DOWN day!!! Finally there is sth to look forward to when the market is down.. haha... We were saying next time we were have this kinda outing when we see the market goes down... wahaha... I really dun mind.. Its really cool to go & have a drink after a long day at work, esp with food that taste so heavenly.. hehe...

We stayed there until 8 b4 heading to Boon Keng for Zi Char.. Cause Gavin aka Gav, cant take beef & the mini burger comes only in beef as their only meat.. So i think he was feeling quite sianz looking at us eating & he can only LOOK & endure.. hehe...

When we reached there & was awaiting for our food to arrive, we saw Christopher Lee.. duno wat prog he is filming for.. They ordered alot alot of food.. When i saw the food, i already damn full le.. din eat much cause the effect of the beer is still activating itself inside my body.. My colleagues really can eat lo.. They finished all the food with RICE, after the burger.... WOW.. no wonder they are expanding horizontally... hehe....

a weekend is over once again... after being in the workforce for more den half a yr, i finally understand why ppl keep saying weekend always passes by in a flash.. now, i am feeling the exact same thing...

Fri night:

Met up with cheng, billy & shan for buffet @ Rajah Inn.. it was a supposed to be a small catching up session with the uni frenz including with jean.. But she din manage to make it cause of work in the end.. we eat until 9 plus b4 going to billy's place for MJ.. cheng's house got blacklisted by us.. haha..

Dear came to meet us after work cause he wanna play also.. we played until 12 plus b4 going back to his place.. din play another round because next day i am having seminar n for billy, he has to work also..

Sat :

Woke up early in the morning cause of the seminar at DBS auditorium.. this is the 3rd time we went there for seminar in a year... as usual, the whole seminar ends ard 2 plus.... i was quite tired after the seminar & went to benny's place to rest until 5 plus b4 going out to have our dinner...

Sth unhappy happened.. I was abit grouchy when I was hungry & this caused the whole issue... We went to Orchard to have dinner first b4 heading to AMK for movie cause i was having gastric already...

The place was really crowded during the weekend & the new ION Orchard is almost open.. Can see the crowd queuing outside the new LV shop there.. We wanted to have Fei Cui one but because of the queue and movie to catch, we give it a miss & went to have MOS burger instead.. After that, things got abit better & we walk ard Orchard b4 heading to AMK..

On the train there, another issue occurred.. But this time round, i duno i wan to laugh or i wan to be angry over it.. We went to get our ticket first b4 heading to Courts.. I had been wanting to get a new camera for quite some time & from the newspaper, dear saw Courts is having some mega sale.. so we decide to go there & see whether the Casio model I wan is on the sales list also....

It wasnt long b4 i saw the model & its on sale also.. Dear bought it for me as my belated bday pressie.. :) Was really happy cause i manage to get the camera & it is a present from someone i love.. :) After payment, we walk really fast back to the theatre cause the show was about to start le... We were quite lucky cause Transformer havent start even after we were late for the show time & still went to buy popcorn... Hee...

The show was alright.. I still prefer the 1st one.. :) After the show, i took a train back home.. As for dear, he went to meet his frenz @ Orchard to drk...

Sun:

Slp until 11 in the morning.. Was supposed to have breakfast with mummy @ Delifrance one but she said dun wan.. Think she wanna let me slp more n dun wan me to waste money also.. :)

Watch TV until 1230 & went to charge my new camera b4 heading for a short nap again..

Dear came ard 330 after his soccer game & lunch with his frenz @ Jurong Pt.. So happy can see him again today.. He really made an effort to come & acc me though he slp quite late yest night...

We took a nap together as the weather is really perfect.. We overshot & slp until 6 plus.. Decide to eat first b4 catching Ice Age 3 ard 745.. Went to eat Botak Jones near my place.. When we step out of my house, it was only drizzling.. But when we reach the kopitiam, it started raining heavily..

The rain din subside & continued.. After eating our meal, we walk to the bus stop to the a bus down to CWP.. We miss 2 buses cause of the traffic light & couldnt run in the rain.. We only decide to watch it another day after waiting for a while at the bus stop.. While waiting there, i was shivering cause of the weather.. But dear was perfectly fine.. Think i really have a weak constitution lo..

We came home & watch the Channel 5 War of the World in my room.. Dear, went back after the show.. By then it was still raining lo.. Really scare he will catch a cold while on his way back... :(
