leap years ~

wondering wat am i doing on this special day that occurs only once every 4 years?? the answer is ---> having my nite time mock exam for MA... wat a way to celeb this special day rite.... but at least its memorable in some way.. going into the exam hall that we only managed to go once a yr... that is how time flies for us.... really getting older & older....

i commence my studying schedule today.. it has been so long since i studied in my sch lib... this yr, i am really lagging far behind.. not knowing wat exactly is happening.. there is just too much things for me to digest & too many things inside my little brain... thk i will have to get some out first b4 i can input more inside...

went to get my dad's certificate near Ikea.. i really dun like to drive there cause the traffic is really chaotic & the place where i have to pick up the document is near some repair workshop which means the road is damn narrow as it was filled with cars along the way...

drove along the path that brought back quite alot of memories.. i never doubt that time is e best healer in the world... things that had happened are just memories to me now, worth remembering & thk back once in a while... that's the beauty of life, isn't it? things that might seemed so painful, torturous & unsolvable in the past are actually nth when u come to thk of it after you had gone thru it... :)

yeah.. wat a 'wonderful' week it is... both my desktop & laptop walked out on me.. leaving me all alone to study for my stupid MA which i only managed to finish 1 chp out of the whole 9 of em.. tml will be judgement day & all i hope is able to get a mere 10 marks for the paper.. just how pathetic could it be??

deciding to save my money up to get a new laptop or going out on a small vacation for a timeout from this whole lot of shit... frankly, i dun thk i deserve a vacation now cause i am not even studying now.. almost everyday playing MJ & thking of how to slack & avoid those SBG & notes.. but i just wanna get away from here going to somewhere where i can really relax.. in e past, when i go to genting, i am always thk about the past & him which makes the stay there torturing rather than relaxing.. but this time round, i guess everything will be quite different...

post celeb with shao yun & anna~~

yup.. finally had the chance to meet up with shao yun & anna for a meal to celeb my bday.. celebrating of b'day is the only chance for us to meet each other for a meal & update about each others' life.. guess we were just too busy with our own life & for someone like me, who can live pretty well in loneliness, unless my frenz come n to find me if not i will seldom take the initiative to call em up... well, its not because i have forgotten about em, dun care about em or dun love em anymore.. i also duno why i am this way... wanna apologise to all my frenz for bearing with me... i just wanna let u guys know that u are not out of my mind......

we went to the breeks @ cwp for dinner... this is my 1st time there & i like the ambience at that restaurant... to be more specific, i love the place where we were sitting.. its quite enclosed & provide us with alot of privacy... the layout is just like u are inside an individual room...

the desert name is massive attack.. can understand y its named that way...

we had a super long chat & talked about the vacation that we had long wanted to organise.. time passes very quickly, b4 we realised its already 10.. had to go back home cause the 2 of them are working..

oh ya.. i wanna ask u guys for some comments & advice regarding the bag below.. how does it look like?? cause i was thking of importing it & selling it here.. was wondering whether it has any potential... it comes in 6 or more colors like BLACK, RED, PINK, PURPLE, BROWN, WHITE, GREEN, BLUE......

the cathay~~

1st time watching movie @ the cathay ever since its opening 2 yrs back.. thk i am really a mountain turtle.. well, watching movies is like the rights for those who are attached.. for those singles like me, watching movie is like a once in a blue moon event.. timing & suitable candidates are the 2 major factors..

went to sch as usual in the morning.. today will be my last wed morning lect for the year & for my whole life as a uni student ( this exclude the revision classes that i will be attending from march to april ) slp at 1am yest & had to drag myself to sch this morning.. wat's worse is there was a long jam @ BKE & i was late for 10 min.. but james today din scold us for being late.. mayb its e last lect & he wans to be nice to us.. :)

ended my lect @ 1130 & i went straight home cause i need to go & 'BAI TAI SUI' today.. heard they say today its the last day le so die die must go.. wanna go to the temple @ sembawang one but i duno which temple it is & where is the exact location so have to go to the jurong one instead.. after the session, we have our lunch at the market nearby.. love their chicken porridge, its simply heavenly..

came home ard 2 plus, rest for an hr & have to go to prepare cause i am having my tuition today.. went for it b4 going down to PS to meet eric for dinner & the movie 'Jumper'.. i tot we will be watching @ PS, its only when i reached den i know we are watching it @ the cathay.. had our meal @ Sakae & catch up on quite alot of things.. guess we haven been seeing each other for almost 2 yrs.. can imagine how much things we need to catch up.... the show was ok but its quite short...

was supposed to go & meet teck & his frenz aft the show for drks one but den i thk my presence might be abit awkward so i decide not to go le.. called jean up to chat & found out she was on e way to PS to pick her frenz up so we met up & go back together.. wanna thx her frenz for the ride back home.. :)

last wk i went to my grandma's place to bai nian.. most of my aunties & uncles will gather there to bai nian even though my grandma was not ard for 8 yrs le.. its has become a routine for us to gather there since we dun practise going to each n everyone house to bai nian during new yr...

wat's chi new yr w/o some small gambling session rite... din get a chance to play poker in KL so tot of playing there that day but only the kids are keen & i dun wish to con their 'hard-saved' money so we played w/o any money involved...

after the session, only the usual 2 families, my aunt's & mine, went to have dinner @ chinatown.. had dim sum for dinner cause we cant thk of any nice chinese buffet restaurant ard the vicinity & even if we tot of it, we din make any reservation so no pt going also.....

since we are in chinatown, i decide to go & look at the MJ set.. with my aunt's superb bargaining skill, i gt the MJ set @ only $65 but the thing is, i have to carry it all the way back to woodlands.. well, just take it as a session to cultivate feelings b/w me & my tiles...

wanted to meet teck & his frenz for drks @ clarke quay one but i give it a miss since i bought a MJ set.. cant possibly bring it down to drk rite?? after bathing, the 4 of us ( my mum, bro, sis & me ) started playing the new MJ... played until almost 3 in e morning b4 we went to bed....

17th feb :

we went to JB in e afternoon cause there was this get-together neighbour thingy @ my new house & my dad wants the whole family to go..

we went to the Jusco 1st b4 going there in e evening time.. frankly, there's nth much for us to see there & we have to wait until 8 plus for the thing to start which means we have to wait for another 2 more hrs... thus we walk ard the neighbourhood to see our neighbours' renovating progress... quite alot of units are occupied already & i love some of their design.. its really very unique....

we decided not to wait for the thing to start & went off to have our dinner @ a restaurant nearby... their food is really gd.. managed to reach home ard 10 & started playing MJ until 12... have to rush thru the game cause my bro they all need to go to sch the next morning...

10th feb :

only managed to wake up ard 11 plus cause of the late nite at St James.. the moment i woke up, i went to prepare straightaway cause we will be going to pingwei's place to bai nian.. met anna at marsiling station to go down together but there was a change of plan.. we went to ah chye's place to bai nian 1st b4 going down to pingwei's one..

took a train down to boon lay with anna, meiyun, wei shyang & san thit.. as for chye & pingwei, they took chye's bike over.. boon lay interchange has changed so much.. 1st time taking the bus from the new interchange.. alot of memories flashed back.. how i used to go back home with teck at the old bus stop.. how i used to take the bus from the old bus stop to sch with yang etc... now i dun even know where is the location of the buses.... that is how time & things changes.. that is y i bought a camera to take down the 'memories' cause it doesnt fade...

1st time going to pingwei's place.. its just next to JJC.. from his kitchen window i can see the running track of JJC... had nasi lemak at his place & its really nice.. after the meal, its finally mahjong time.. from new yr since den i haven touched my fav. MJ at all...

i left pingwei's place at 6 while the others stayed on cause my dad is coming over to fetch me to go out for dinner as a post-celebration for my birthday... we went to THE OASIS to eat taiwan porridge.. had been craving for it for mths already.. :) i thk the place is going to be teared down soon.... haiz.. another place full of memories will be gone to make way for new buildings & facilites....

after the dinner with my family, i went home 1st b4 going down to shyang's place to bai nian & gamble again.. haha.. too bad we dun haf MJ set so we play 'in-between' & blackjack instead.. 1st time to shyang's place also.. last time he stayed just 3 storey above me but now he has moved to the condo nearby.. i love their swimming pool there.. its really like a resort... we stayed there until 12 plus b4 he fetched us back home one by one... thx for e ride hunk.. :)

13th feb :

i din go for MA today cause i din do james' homework & judging from wat he normally do, he will check one by one n throw those ppl who din do his work out of the class... so rather den go n let him throw me out after that, i rather dun go even though i have already woke up & brushed my teeth..

went to sch for the afternoon MSM class with cheng n bra they all... i can only say that i cant catch a word of wat the lecturer is talking about.. theory lesson taught by a lecturer with strong accent is a killer to student.. so we just slacked all the way..

after lect, its war-time.. we need to book for our e-revision online.. everytime doing those booking online is like fighting a war.. everyone need to vie for the classes that they wan so its a 'fastest-finger' game.. not forgetting to mention, ur connection must be fast also..

by the time we finished booking our session, its already 730.. i am damn hungry by den.. we met billy at the atrium & went to town to have our dinner with lishan & yaoquan.. wanted to go to eat at Tony Romas one but den its like we always celebrate birthday there so we go for a change... finally we settled down at The Manhanttan@PS..

we were deciding where to go after dinner.. the few options are chilling out, playing MJ, watching movies etc.. finally the b'day gal decide on playing MJ.. haha.. thk i am really turning into a gambler.. we decide to go to billy's place for the game.. me & jean took yaoquan's car which he parked it at sophia street.. along the way to get his car, we came across a super long staircase which looks damn nice under the lighting...

we stayed at billy's place until 1230 cause the next morning yaoquan & billy have to wake up early to work.. wanna thx yaoquan for sending me home specially even though the next morning he need to wake up by 530.. thx alot hunk..

lastly, i wanna thx them for e treat @ manhattan, the birthday presents & also the birthday greetings.. :)

super hectic week~

came back from KL last sat but just dun have the time to come online or am too lazy to blog about the whole lot of things that had happened over the past wk.. so much has happened..

3rd feb :

we left singapore early in e morning & reached KL ard 12.. went to have our lunch at our fav. restaurant... by the time we finished eating its already 1 plus.. decide to go straight to the hotel as we were afraid that there might be a jam near our hotel & might delayed our check-in time.. just as expected the jam there was horrible & the road changed also.. its only half a yr & so much has changed..

aft settling down, we went straight to SHOP... hehe.. but this time round, i din get anything from there except the nail polish.. as for my bro & sis, they bought alot of things.. forgot to mention, the shopping crowd was damn crazy also.. the whole shopping mall is filled with ppl like those sardine in a can... looking at the crowd the mood of shopping just disappeared.. i just wan to go back to the hotel & rest....

we went for our dinner at those roadside stalls below our hotel.. dun look down at those roadside stalls, some of them actually sell nicer food than those restaurant....

4th feb :

we woke up ard 930 which is considered quite late.. cause normally when we went on vacation, our dad will wake us up ard 7 or 8 just to go & have breakfast.. we went to the dim sum restaurant near our condo for breakfast cause daddy need to go there to pay the maintenance fees tat he had accrued for a few mths..

we went to their chinatown there to shop.. can sense the new yr mood there.. the feeling of new yr is stronger over there.. went to their famous 'luo han guo' drk stall to quench my thirst & saw something unique.. there's a auntie selling 'mua chi' but her 'mua chi' is very special.. its of diff flavours like sesame, pandan, ribena, mango, drangon fruit etc...

we went back to the hotel to rest aft one round of shopping b4 going to haf our dinner.. after dinner we decide to explore ard our hotel area & come across a newly open shopping centre 'Pavillion'.. there was a red carpet there & we wondered what's happening.. den we realise about an hr ago, stephen chow was there to promote about his new movie CJ7...

5th feb :

finally we went to find our relatives which means its the end of our shopping day.. while at my aunt's place, i just kept watching the canto drama she have & that is how i spent my day.. even though i brought my MA along with me but i dun have any mood to study at all...

at nite, we went for dinner & 'lao yu sheng'.. the fish the restaurant give us is damn pathetic.. really dun understand why ppl like to eat..

6th feb :

finally its the eve of chinese new yr.. at least today wont be as boring as yest cause this yr all the family members will be coming to my aunt's house for reunion dinner so at least we can help out with the preparation.. but actually we din help much also.. most of the cooking were done by my aunt & just like yest, i was watching the drama also....

7th feb :

Happy Chinese New Year~~~ yeah... here comes the yr of the Rat... a brand new yr & marks a brand new start.. should leave everything behind...

wake up quite early cause must go to another aunt's place to bai nian den must rush back to prepare for the steamboat feast tonight..

we went to haf our breakfast 1st b4 heading down to the place cause we need an hr to reach there... while waiting for the food the adults started chatting as for me, its snap shot time...

finally we reached the place.. my aunt was preparing a birthday cake for me & din expect me to reach so early, so when she saw me, she was quite shocked & ask me not to go near the table cause she wan to give me a surprise of how the cake looks like...

that's how the cake looks like.. its my one & only bday cake this yr.. really must thx my aunt.. :)

8th feb :

was supposed to go back home today in e late afternoon one but den after the mini shopping with my aunt & waiting for her to finish shopping for hours, daddy got a little sick.. thus we decide to go back home 1st thing in e morning instead.. since we are staying for another nite, i tot of going to club at the zouk there with my cousin to countdown to my bday one but in e end, they are more keen to go to genting to gamble... so have to go with the majority.. thus we drive up to genting & reached there ard 10 plus..

it was really misty & cool there this time round.. it hasnt been so misty for very long.. not forgetting to mention the crowd also.. the carpark everywhere was full & the gambling table was surrounded by ppl... sometimes i cant even see the dealer or the table at all.. yes.. it was that crowded....

spent my countdown of the bday at the casino... we came down ard 3 plus & only managed to slp at 5....

9th feb :

its my bday.... but i dun feel special at all.. it just seems like any other normal day to me.... was waiting for someone's msg but it never arrived at all until a few days later....

we woke up at 8 & started our journey.. luckily we went back home so early cause the news at nite said that in e early afternoon, the expressway was having a long jam along seremban there le... but despite leaving so early, we only managed to reach singapore ard 2 plus cause of the jam along the causeway & b4 the custom in JB...

receive grace's msg to ask me to go to ms goh's place to bai nian later.. after everything had been settled at home, i went to ms goh's place.. was late for an hour felt quiet bad about it.. at 1st i tot aft that they will have activities one but everyone is going back home because of the assignment etc.. as for me, i was supposed to go & celeb with my family one but they say tml is better so the dinner was cancelled also..

at this moment, guochao msg me & asked me out for dinner.. we met at city hall & went to marina square to eat b4 heading down to the 'min ge chan ting'... the place is quite cool & i thk i will go there more often.. den teck called me & told me that his sec frenz will be going down to St James to celeb his bday & ask me wanna go or not... it was until den, guochao know its my bday... must really thx him for his treat.... :)

teck came to millenia walk to fetch me & we went down to St James together.. his frenz were already in there le.. met the bday boy who is born on the same day, same mth & same yr as me.. saw weide there also.. been yrs since i last saw him, he is just the same.. still as cheeky.. haha.. i din dance much that day just stayed ard the table playing games & drking.. its only hrs later b4 i went down with his frenz to dance for a while..
