Taiwan trip~~

i am finally back from the 7D6N taiwan trip but my mind & heart is still there.. i am beginning to miss the 蚵阿煎, 木瓜牛奶, 红烧牛肉面, 卤肉饭.... the food there is really superb... u can get really nice food from just any store, this is esp so for their bubble tea.. i accomplished all my 'mission' that i planned to complete there.. hehe.. super duper happy... :)

24th july : Changi Airport, 士林夜市 & 钱柜

we meet up @ billy's place in e morning as his dad offered to send us to the airport.. we reached the airport ard 1030 & managed to check-in after a short wait.. we went to BK @ T2 for our brunch.. after finishing the food, we went into the waiting area to shop.. hehe.. wanted to get my shu uemura concealer but its out of stock.. we took the sky train to go back to T1 where we board the plane.. i never know that we can board a sky train from the waiting area..

its been 10 yrs since i last took an airplane abroad.. everything seems so interesting to me.. must thx cheng for giving up the window seat to me.. there's a mini cock-up after the plane took off & made me felt that a travel insurance is really essential when u go abroad..

the plane finally landed in taiwan ard 5 plus.. we took a bus from the airport to taipet main station where our hostel is.. we took quite sometime to locate the hostel.. when we finally found it with some help from the local, we were quite surprised that it is inside a high-rise building.. yeah, inside a building.. we always tot that the hostel will be some kind of low & old building but this one really surprise us..

the gals & guys were temporarily seperated as there are no more rooms to accomodate the 4 of us.. have to wait until the next day den there will be one.. we changed into our casual wear & make a move to their famous 士林夜市 for a sumptous feast of their local 小吃..

i was really impressed by the 士林奇景.. those who had been there will know wat i am referring to.. billy & cheng wanted to bring me & lishan to their famous dessert shop but their mission failed cause we practically stopped at every 2 shops we passed by & din managed to walk until the end of the street where the dessert shop is.. time is running out also as we had to catch the last train back to 西门町 where we will be singing @ the famous 钱柜 ktv..

the whole building is occupied by 钱柜 & its open 24hour.. i really love the night life in taipei.. we found the best 炸鸡排 @ the most unexpected place ----> 钱柜.. the one that we ate @ the 夜市 really sux... we sing until 4 plus & managed to walk back to our hotel using the map we took @ the airport..

25th july : 五分埔, 西门町 & Babe

we woke up @ 10 cause need to change to another room.. the plan for today will be going to 五分埔 to shop & clubbing @ night but firstly, we need to have our breakfast 1st.. we intend to go to 西门町 for our meal but changed the plan when we walked pass a old store selling 牛肉面.. luckily we stopped & eat there if not, we will be missing alot of gd food.. i can say ALL the things that is available there is simply delectable..

after the meal, we continued walking ard & i saw a 3 storey Watson.. i went straight in & was amazed by the wide variety of cosmetic & skincare product in there.. i just look ard & stopped myself from getting anything cause we still need to go n shop elsewhere..

we arrived @ 五分埔 in the early afternoon & seperated from the guys.. its really a shopping heaven for gals & guys.. we went @ the right time of the year cause they are selling summer clothings now which is really suitable for our weather.. the ppl there is really frenly & when we asked them where should we go for water sport & clubbing, they recommend us a few places like Luxy & Lava straightaway..

we left ard 5 plus & went back to the hostel to rest & prepare for the night.. we only leave for dinner ard 9 plus & went to 西门町 where we met lijing, luke, liwen & wayne, who had just arrived that evening.. they din joined us to club as planned so we went on our own.. took a cab down & realised Lava is actually at 华纳威秀 but we din went in there, we went to a club known as BABE.. the crowd is really young & the ratio of gals is really pathetic.. :(

i realised the guys @ taiwan club loves to talk.. maybe they are just being frenly & nice to foreigner like us.. i love their concept there.. pay the entrance fee & its free flow all night long with drks like Long Island, Sex On the Beach to Beer & Housepour.. that applies for the guys also.. i wonder when this concept will come into Singapore's club..

we stayed there until 2 plus.. me & cheng were damn sober when we came out of the club.. i din drk alot cause i am scared of the feeling when we get drunk.. ever since the Singapore River incident last yr, i told myself i will try my best not to be in that state anymore... as for billy, i will say that he is DAMN high...

26th july : 八仙乐园 & 淡水

we planned to go to 八仙乐园 & we did.. @ first i still tot that the trip will be cancelled because of the late night out yest but all of us managed to wake up by 1030 & got everything prepared & done by 1115...

we went to the Taipei Main Station to get our ticket to 瑞芳, where we can go to Jiu Fen by taking a cab from there.. we know nuts about the the cab thing until a kind volunteer @ the train station briefed us about the different types of train available & the best time to go there etc.... we felt damn lucky to have met so many helpful & frenly local there.. they are really our lucky star & tour guide... :)

after settling the ticket, its meal time.. we had our lunch b4 taking e MRT down to 淡水 where we were told to take a ferry to 八里, where we must take another bus to reach 八仙乐园.. sounds damn complicating & tiring rite.. well, IT IS... this is not the only route to reach our destination but we were told that's the fastest way to reach there... we simply utilised almost ALL the mode of transportation just to go to a theme park...

all the troubles & hassle are worth it.. the theme park is really amazing & i love their tarzan swing station... that pool is 3.6m deep with a tarzan rope above it, the player have to hold onto the rope on a platform & swing outward b4 letting go & fall into the pool.. i was alittle petrified by the height when my turn comes & b4 i could thk of anything, i just swing myself out... i am afraid that if i linger there for too long, i might not have the courage to play it anymore....

we stayed there until 5 plus & b4 we left, we had a brand new experience with the Doctor Fish that helps to 'eat' your dead skin & cells.. it felt really ticklish but its really fun... we took the bus back to 八里 & the time is just nice for the 夜市 to start..

the fried octopus there is simply heavenly.. I AM MISSING IT.. we tried the 臭豆腐 & i can announced i am not a a fan of it.. the ambience is really nice & the scenery is really beautiful.... i finally understand why its so crowded @ 淡水 during weekend... its really a very nice getaway from the concrete jungle where u can basked urself in old & traditional style buildings & food.. its really a very different experience..

27th july : 九份, 五分埔 & 台风

finally we get to go to 九份 but the thing is we must come back asap cause typhoon is approaching in e evening.. :(

this morning is the most rushing one for all of us cause we had to catch the train & must be @ the station 5 min b4 the train arrived.. we were there on time & managed to find our platform & seats w/o much trouble.. the train journey to 瑞芳 took 50 min & i was taking photos of the scenery on the full journey there...

the wind is blowing very strongly & the weather is very different from the past few days.. we took a cab to 九份 & its only den i realised that the place is on a mountain.. i was stunned by the beautiful seaview of 金瓜石.. its really spectacular when u look down from viewing area..

i really love 九份老街.. its very beautiful & the feeling is totally different.. if there's a chance i will wan to stay at the hostel there so that i can explore the place fully.. too bad we have to make this a very rush trip because of the typhoon but i am glad we went there.. :)

we stayed until 2 plus & turned back to taipei.. lishan & i decide to go back to 五分埔 for our final shopping spree.. as for cheng & billy they decide to go to catch a movie.. so we went out seperate way.. this time the shopping trip w/o the guys is so carefree & relax.. no need to worry about the time to meet etc.. we spent another 4 hours there & only stopped shopping when it started raining heavily... this time round, we took the train from 松山 back to taipei, which is only a stop away...

we din go back to our hostel immediately.. we actually walked against the strong wind & rain, carrying our barang-barang & umbrella just to get the yummy 水煎包 across the street of our hostel.. the wind is really very strong & we had to 'push' our way through so that we can walk forward.... finally we arrived @ our hotel safe & sound..

the guys came back ard 12 plus & after bathing, its MJ time.. haha.. ya, we asked cheng to bring the mini MJ set over.. we played until 5 am in e morning.. by the time i am damn sei already & the typhoon starts to arrive during that time... we can hear the howling of the wind even in our room & we were told not to on the air-con as it might caused explosion.. u can imagine how stuffy it is inside our room.. :(

28th july : 鼎泰丰 & Taipei 101

we woke up in e early afternoon.. by the time, typhoon had already subsided.. the time is just nice for us to go out n shop.. our plan is to go to SOGO & taipei 101..

we went to 鼎泰丰 for our late lunch.. though its a typhoon day, the business there is still very gd.. i duno isit a psychological thing but i just feel that the 小笼包 there taste better.. esp the one with the crab thingy..

we went to washroom b4 we left & i chanced upon 2 very interesting device inside the cubicle.. should have video it... i tot the others would have seen it when they are in the washroom but when i told em about it, they said they din..

we took a cab to taipei 101 & took alot of photos.. i din know that taipei 101 & new york new york are so near to one another.. the place is just like orchard road, all the main shopping centre are along that stretch of road.. i bought alot of hello kitty products.. they are SO cute.. how i wish i can bring everything back..

the guys left us to shop & went back to the hostel 1st.. we walked to 诚品 but there's like nth much there.. so we took a train to 忠孝复兴 where the biggest Sa-Sa is located.. one of my aim to taiwan is to get their beauty product so i thought Sa-Sa would be the place where i can get the stuffs that i wan but i was totally wrong... there's nth much u can buy there except for their in-house brand & the salesperson there are so pushy.. it really turned me off totally..

we went to 西门町 after that.. most of the shops have closed.. so we just bought some food & made our way back to the hostel..

29th july : 淡水 & 士林夜市

we went to 淡水 to shop for our local products.. it was drizzling the whole day & made shopping in e open quite a hassle.. we settled down @ a dessert shop after reaching 淡水 for a short rest.. the tou huay there taste really nice & traditional..

after getting the local products, we just went back straight to the hostel.. its really hard for us to walk & shop when we need to carry all the stuffs & an umbrella to shelter us from the rain.. din get to go to fishermeh wharf because of the weather.. :(

we rested @ the hostel until 7 plus before going back to 士林夜市 for the food & the famous dessert tat the guys wanted to bring us to the other day.. i also did some last min shopping so that i can fully utilised my remaining NTs...

the guys brought us to the wrong dessert shops.. should have go to the one opposite it... but its ok, the dessert that we had eaten is not bad also.. we shopped until 11 plus b4 going back..

30th july : 龙山寺, 桃园机场 & Home Sweet Home

we woke up quite early cause we need to pack our lugguage & prepare to check-out.. by 10 we are almost done, so we decide to go for our breakfast @ our favourite store nearby b4 coming back to check-out.. we made a fruitless trip cause the place only open at 11.. so we decide to go n get our mask b4 going back for our meal...

we walk to 西门町 to catch the MRT to 龙山寺.. i chanced upon a store selling all sorts of beauty products from jap & taiwan on our way there.. it was den i found ALL the devices that i wanted to get on this trip.. argh~~ why din i find this store earlier?? i cant buy all the stuffs cause i am only left with NT500.. that's so sad....... :(

we are done with our bai bai at 龙山寺 by 2 & went back to the hostel locker to get our lugguage.. went to the bus station where we can take a straight bus to the airport.. felt really 舍不得 on my way there..

we had some food @ starbucks b4 boarding the plane.. on our way there, we walked past the smoking room that looks more like a lounge of a club..

the plane ride is almost 4 hours & we reached singapore airport @ 11.. mummy & daddy had called this morning saying they will be coming to fetch me.. they were already @ the airport eating BK when i reached.. the feeling of seeing your family once you touched down is really great... i really miss em alot...

cheng they all say i am like their OC for the trip cause i am the one who plan most of the itinery, chionging all the time when it comes to shopping & eating & having the most energy at the end of the day.. i am also the one who influence them the most when it comes to shopping.. like the mask, the beauty device to slim down the face & sharpen the nose.. they all bought it together with me under my influence.. hehe..

i hope they really enjoy the trip though its a tiring one for em because of me.. they only get to rest & relax fully on the typhoon day, as for the others, they are all chionging with me.. thx guys for accomodating to all my itinery.. sorry if i really tire u out during the trip.. :) i will never forget this travelling experience with u guys... thx for the wonderful memories..

going to taiwan..

its been a busy week for me.. wat am i busy with?? MAHJONG~~ haha.. had been playing mj on last mon, thur, sat & sun.. thk i have really become the goddess of gambler.. hehe..

other den that, i am also busy giving tuition & went for 3 interview.. the 1st 2 of em is just go for fun one.. went for both with ah ma.. still waiting for reply on the F1 formula race one.. hope can get it cause will be able to watch the match for FREE.. haha... that's the reason why both of us went to apply for the job.. the ticket for the race is really too much for us to afford...

went for another serious interview yest & i really screwed it up.. guess wat wanyui say is true.. u will not get the 1st job u went for interview.. i believe in it but there's exception too.. cheng already gt his job & he only sent out 4 resume, went for a interview & it only took him 8 days to get the confirmation... its really record-breaking..

met up with wanyui finally for dinner & some shopping session on thur with ah ma... cant believe we are going to start working soon.. the 1st time we met is like 3 yrs back & we are still so young..

finally finished packing my lugguage.. hope i din leave anything out.. its gonna be my 1st time out of country on a place w/o my family.. in e past i do go abroad with ah ma & wanyui but we went on a coach & the thing only lasted 2 day.. for tml one, i will be going for about a wk.. really looking forward to it but den i felt really guilty towards my family cause i will be going alone this time.. my family have been wanting to go to taiwan & now going alone with my frenz made me felt so bad.. i like pang sei them lo... so sad.... nvm, i will treat this as a trip for me to familiarise with the country so that next time i can be their guide & bring em ard.... gonna miss my family... :~~(

long time no see ~~

after a overnight MJ @ ah ma's frenz place @ admiralty, i am like a walking corpse.. not forgetting i need to meet Roy @ Vivo @ 2pm for Red Cliff.. but my main purpose there is to send my phone in for servicing..

as usual, i was late.. rushed to the service centre & we made in on time for the movie.. i can still go n get my donuts b4 going into the theatre.. this is my 4th time watching movie there, the last time was like 10mths back... i was really overwhelmed by the fighting scene of the show.. i am looking forward to the 2nd part of the show.. hope its more interesting than the 1st part...

after movie, we walked around the place b4 settling down @ sushi tei for dinner.. i am famished by den & we started eating w/o waiting for anna & ryan.. hehe.. they only reached an hour later, am glad we started w/o them 1st...

its been 2 yrs since we last met together & had a meal.. time really flies.. after dinner we went to haagen daz for dessert.. had their fondue but i still prefer the one @ hotpot.. its quite fun seeing how roy & ryan bicker with one another.. haha.. i tot only gals will bicker that way..

car accident~~

i 'heard' a car accident on mon.. why i said 'heard' instead of see?? its because i heard the sound 1st b4 turning over & saw a pri sch kid being knocked down by a car.. he was thrown more den a meter away from the place he got knocked.. i was on my way to my tuition kids condo for tuition when that happened..

having seen wat had happened, i called the police for the 1st time in my entire life.. while i was doing so, i walked over to the scene.. the pri sch kid is still conscious, with very little wounds on the surface.. he was sitting on e middle of the road & some cars & pedestrian had stopped to help.. they din dare to move him to the side of the road as they are afraid there might be some fractured on him.. some of the pedestrains helped to direct the traffic but it din helped cause most car passing by will just slow down their speed to take a closer look of wat's going on...

finally the ambulance arrived @ the scene.. they enquire the taxi uncle who knocked the boy down on the speed he was driving when the accident happened.. he told them its 50 plus.. well, i am really skeptical about his answer... as a driver n someone who always walked along that road, most of the cars driving there will have a speed of more den 60... i can see from the paramedics face that they dun believe the uncles answer also..

i din witness the whole of the accident except for the 'flying' part.. but from those who saw, the boy just ran out from the front of the bus after he alighted @ the bus stop so its not totally the uncle's fault from knocking him down.. well, just hope that he will be fine & not have any internal injuries...

now, whenever i cross the road, i will have this phobia of me being knocked down also.... the road seems so unsafe & dangerous to me now..

as usual, sat morning is meant for tuition & afternoon is a family gal's night out..

the 3 ladies met @ jurong & were supposed to go to orchard to shop but in e end, we change it to Marina Square.. its been more den a yr since i last shopped @ Raffles Shopping Centre.. i was quite fascinated by the change in their layout.. the open space in e middle of the shopping centre is filled with cements & bricks to make up space for new shops.. as for the basement, there are more shops now also..

after that, we walk thru City Link to Suntec.. on the way, i was shopping for my scandals for the taiwan trip.. so i went into every shops selling shoes in hope of getting a pair that is really comfortable & easy to mix & match with my clothes..

@ Suntec, the place is really crowded.. it was then we realised that the band etc are getting really for the rehearsal march for National Day..

we left after a while cause the place is getting more n more crowded.. went to MS but din really shop there cause our main motive is the hot pot buffet there.. wat's unique about the buffet is everyone will have a hot pot of their own & their desserts include hot pot choco fondue...

their choco fondue is really fantastic.. yum yum..

after dinner, i went to get my scandals b4 going to the station to meet billy & lishan @ commonwealth cause they are coming to my house for MJ session with me, my mum & ah ma.. we played until the next morning & it was really fun..

ah ma din go back home immediately after the game ends.. so we stayed in my room & started chatting.. we talked about alot of stuffs & i told her about alot of my stuffs also... it was really enjoyable & i love this feeling... lying on bed, having gals talk... really miss this kinda of feeling..

my sis took this pic while i was about to talk.. my cheeks looks really rounded right?? realised any diff in my eye colour?? yeah.. i finally got my colored lens.. does the hazel color looks nice on me?? my sis keeps saying my eyes resemblence that of a tiger..

was deleting some documents from my phone cause gonna bring it for servicing this coming tue at Vivo.. come across some documents which was supposed to be my blog entry but due to the poor connection, i din managed to post it up.. so i decide to transfer to my com & let it 'come to light'..

"Its 2.30am in e morning & I am sitting outside e starbucks of genting alone.. If I am not wrong, I came on exact same date last yr..

E feeling tis time round is v. Diff from e past.. E trip last yr was filled with lotsa painful yet memorable memories.. Tis time, e painful part is omitted.. If I said I had forgotten everything, I am just lying thru my teeth.. How can someone forgot an event which might happened only once in a lifetime? To some, it might not even happen to em @ all.. But I have 2 admit, I had forgotten some of e details..

Wonder why i am always have so much 2 thk & write whenever I am here.. Isit because I am too free here, that's why I can have e space moment to let my mind run wild.. Well that's e reason why i love 2 come here.. It's not because i am a hardcore gambler ( I admit I had been playing MJ quite Frequently ).. It's more like my mind seems clearer after the thinking session.."

i just go n read my sis blog & found out how she felt about my dad n myself & also our family... well, her comment is me & my dad is like a stranger to her.. i felt quite heated up when i read the blog entry.. i cant say that i dun blame her for wat she is saying but i must admit that everyone is @ fault....

just like a acquaintance of mine, my sis will only push the blame to others everytime when she is @ fault.. she will never admit that she is e one in the wrong & she will never reflect why ppl treated her that day.. she doesnt know how to respect ppl & how do u expect others to do the same to her... is that how the youngest child will behave in each family? being unreasonable, wildful & really full of SHIT.....

changi airport~~

went to changi airport for a cup of cafe latte in e middle of the night yest with a William.. its been so long since i went there & its my 1st time to go there @ midnight..

i always tot that the airport will be filled with ppl 24/7 but i was wrong.. yest, the place was really deserted.. all the departure counters were closed @ Terminal 2.. it was quite shocking cause i tot there will be flights in the middle of the night also..

other den a couple of foreigners slping there with their lugguage, we are like the only local there.. when i was there, i tot of genting.. cause only when i am in genting, will i be having a cafe latte in e middle of the night.. well, the temperature @ the airport do resemblance that of genting, wat's missing is the breeze...

we only stayed @ starbucks.. din see any aeroplane @ all.. its quite disappointing..

tot of my taiwan trip when i was there too.. in another 2 wks time i will be flying over to taiwan with my uni frenz.. still vexed about how much should i bring there & wat should i wear there...

drunk~~

yes.. someone gt drunk @ the outing last night but it was not me... it was a Mr Koon.. i never expect him to get so drunk cause normally, he will control himself for not drking so much.. well, mayb that's a misunderstanding on my part.. its been so long since i last went drinking with him, during this period of him, he might have turned into an 'alcoholic' w/o my knowledge.. ha...

he invited me to his frenz bday party @ boiler.. i saw his frenz once @ a ktv session & that was like more den half a yr back.. though i dun really know his frenz well, i still decide to go with him cause its been quite long since we meet up to go n chill.. another reason is i keep on 'flying aeroplane' for the previous few outings which we had set so i felt quite bad towards him...

we met @ cwp for dinner @ pasta mania b4 going to shop for his frenz pressie.. took a train down to vivo.. wanted to shop ard but by the time we reached, most of the shops were closed.. he called his frenz & they were already inside boiler..

its my 1st time sitting inside boiler for so long.. most of the time when i go there, i will just hang ard for like 15 min den i will just go to powerhouse & stay there for the rest of the night.. i really like the live performance there.. one of the performer there is really funny & horny.. haha.... its really quite fun....

throughout the night, i am like sitting @ a corner watchin the show & listening to the music.. i din really interact much with his frenz cause they are like playing @ another side of the table.. as for him, he is like the photographer of the night, walking ard taking photos.... den i was told by him that every time he took a photo at the other table, he was asked to drk.. that explains why he got so drunk later in e night... when we were playing finger guessing, he also offered to drk on my behalf.. i must really admit his frenz is damn gd @ the game.. i duno how many times have i lost to him & how much i have drank....

i went out with him for some fresh air, leaving his frenz inside.. they came out to look for us later & by the time, he is quite seh already.. luckily one of his frenz drove that night & offered to send us & the bday boy back... must really thx him for sending us back home.. :)

JC gals night out~~

its finally our long awaited session for the 4 of us to meet up.. ever since jan, which is like half a yr back, we had never had a decent outing with full attendance...

shu & ah li are already working.. its only left with me & ah ma who is living the life like a tai-tai.. for me other den tuition, i will be playing MJ or going out with frenz.. if not i will be at home watching shows n programs online... i really enjoy my lifestyle now.. haha....

i went to meet philip & his frenz @ starbucks for a short session b4 meeting up with ah ma.. its been a long time since we went out for a walk.. i rem how we used to go out when we were in JCs, walking ard with no motives... we walked to paragon den to far east.. i thk its been almost a yr since i last stepped into that building.. everywhere seems so alien to me...

i din really get any stuffs cause i am saving for my taiwan trip.. we walked to Tangs where ah ma started her shopping spree.. ah li & shu finally showed up.. as usual, they were late..... by the time they reached, i am already very hungry..

we went to thai express @ paragon for dinner.. while waiting for the dishes come, we rem e 1st time when we eat @ thai express esplanade to celeb ah shu's birthday.. den we talked about how..... er..... not pretty we are... hehe.. aiya, who doesnt have a past...

after that, its still early so we went to shop ard.. alot of places & shops are having more den 50% sales but the sizes are really limited... that's the problem with sales...

after the meet-up, i went to yishun with a fren for supper b4 going to alvin's place for a mj session with them... anthan had msg me while i was out with ah ma in e afternoon.. i told him to find replacement for me cause i will be very late but in e end, i still went in the end... recently, i was not being favoured by the God of MJ.. keep losing money lo.. haiz.. i still need alot of $$ for my taiwan session.. argh~~ that's so bad...

played until this morning & reached home about 6.. just nice to send me sis & bro to sch b4 coming back home to slp.. i had been sending them to sch in e morning for almost 2 wks.. its so tiring to wake up in e morning for half an hr just to send them to sch.. i finally realised how 伟大 my dad is.. in e past, he will send me to sch even though my sec sch is just a 5 min walk from my place.. during my JC when my sch is like an hour journey away, he will send me there & come back home to slp after tat... the total duration adds up to like more den 3 or 4 years... wat i am doing now is just like peanuts, not worth mentioning at all....
